Tapas originated in Andalucia, a Southern province of Spain, and are considered a fundamental way of life. These tasty small dishes are traditional Spanish dishes found in every bar, cafe, restaurant, and home. A tapa is an appetizer or snack in Spanish cuisine that can be combined to make a full meal and can be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot (such as gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) or patatas bravas). We wanted to bring this culinary experience to the heart of East Greenwich creating a shareable experience, transporting our guests to Southern Spain with a variety of diverse flavors and wine pairings that will entice their tastebuds.

Unfortunately not the best of experiences yesterday. Had made reservations to celebrate my friends birthday (thank you for the card on the table - that was a nice touch), however, it seems as if the waitress serving us did not receive the memo. We ordered the mimossional disaster expecting to start the celebration strong only to be welcomed with dirty glasses and no sparklers to which I asked and was told no this is not something we do. Meanwhile we saw online and then the table next to us ordered the same and theirs were fright in with sparklers. When I asked our waitress again she mentioned how someone had gone out to get sparklers which really left a bad taste in our mouths making us feel like we were not as valued meanwhile were their for a celebration and are paying just as much as them. Then she came back saying because of mix up that she would comp us a birthday dessert which honestly in most places are offered free of charge as it is but that’s beside the point. Overall just a bit disheartened by the overall experience as our intent was to celebrate our friend and her birthday in a fun way but that was quickly deflated upon our visit. We’ve been there before and have had great experiences and had high hopes but didn’t work out.

8 of us had a wonderful dinner before a concert at the Odeum. We shared a bunch of tapas. The food and drinks were excellent and Emily was an amazing server! We loved it and will definitely return!

Love Besos before a show at the Odeum (just a short walk). Perfect cocktails and dollar oysters were a bonus on a Sunday evening!

Chef Mo's new menu is so delicious! Bursting with bold flavors, we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Our server was awesome, as well. Friendly, attentive but not overly so. An overall beautiful dining experience. We shall be back!

This is a TAPAS bar/restaurant? Sunday brunch menu had very few Tapas dishes. Those that were we not great, empanadas too much crust too little filling that had very little flavor. Croquetas had a sweet sauce that over powered the croquettes. Disappointed in the Tapas selection, music was too loud, even grilled cheese sandwich wasn’t great.

The brunch at Besos is incredible! The decor is gorgeous with a fine dining feeling. The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive. Our server Virginia made sure our experience in celebrating a birthday was special. The chef even came out to introduce himself and asked if everything we ordered was cooked to our liking. 10/10 we’ll be back!

The service was not great. We had to speak to the host to find out where our server was. The food was OK just the service overall was horrible
