   Ambience was great! Drinks were great! The food and the service was mid. The food had the potential to be so good, but it came out all over the place. We had a larger party though so I would say go with smaller groups. For example, my friend didn't get her entire meal for about 20 minutes- she got it in pieces. I love black businesses though and it's beautiful on the inside!

   This experience would have been a WHOLE lot better. However, our issues were that we were being presented with "rules" at the point of arrival. One issue was the two and half time limit at our table. Meaning we had to be out in two and a half hours. And this included our wait for food. Which we got in pieces! We had to eat what was brought to us then wait for the rest of our food. We had a large party and we couldn't enjoy the band really bc we had to leave. Secondly, we were going to be charged $35 because we brought a cake. NONE OF THIS IS ON THE WEBSITE WHEN I MADE THE RESERVATION. It definitely ruined our experience. Half of the party says they will not return. I still tipped the waiter a nice tip because he was really accommodating but I don't think I will be returning.

   Food 10/10! Service great waitress pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful very demure! If you are celebrating a Birthday or a promotion this is the place to be me and my family genuinely enjoyed the vibe, food, service and overall atmosphere. Highly recommend!

   We had reservations. Was told we would be in a specific area and table but when we got there we were placed elsewhere. Was lied to about not having any open reservations when we set at the table and went online and they did. The manager or as she kept saying the assistant General manager has a really bad attitude promblem. She was very rude and acted as if she was irritated. It was extremely hot. People were complaining about their reservations being messed up as well.

   My brother treated me to lunch for my birthday. The Ocean Plunge appetizer was really good ..plenty of seafood with just the right amount of spicy 😋 . I had the fried red snapper and my brother had the lemon pepper shrimp with garlic mash. Sonny was our server and he was so knowledgeable about the menu. I'll come back

   We arrived about 10:45 for our 11am Sunday brunch reservation. The door was locked. A man opened the door for a worker. When I asked about coming in, he said we would have to wait as they were still setting up. It was drizzling so we went back to our vehicle to wait. When we headed back at 11am, the first thing we noticed was a party of four going in and one of the patrons was wearing athletic shoes, shorts, a hoodie and a baseball cap. We both said this was a violation of the dress code that we had both read when we made the reservation as it was the first thing that popped up on the webpage. The party of four was at the wait stand when we entered (they were just seconds ahead of us) and we were surprised when the hostess took us upstairs and seated us at adjacent tables. How were they allowed to be seated when one of their party violated the dress policy which is in effect all day Sunday? But our dining experience was a very good one. We both ordered the Bottomless Mimosas (the champagne was a little flat but we didn't comment or complain) as did most of the tables. You get a carafe with the mimosa. We were also told when seated there is a 2 hour limit on the table. We had one Son of a Gun Slinger: eggs, potatoes, bacon (I think), a creamy sauce and a fried catfish filet (served on the side as requested) but it was very good. I ordered ala carte: a waffle, pork bacon and breakfast potatoes; I had leftovers to take home. When we left (well within our two hours), I asked the hostess about the dress code. She acknowledged there is the code. She explained that guests are told about it when inappropriate (maybe these folks were told as they were leaving and after we left) but, the fact is, they will seat you. We noticed another person in a hoodie as we were leaving. Rules are rules. But it was a good dining experience and I look forward to returning.
