   Ostriche eccellenti, ottimi cocktail (provate il lavander cooler), staff gentile e preparato. Nonostante l'ambiente sia molto bello e nel cuore di south Kensington, ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

   L'ambiente è molto bello nella sua essenzialità. Abbiamo mangiato ostriche ed erano tutte ottime, anche se le Gilardeau (a 7£ l'una) spiccavano nettamente sulle altre (a partire da 3£). Indubbiamente la qualità si paga. In ogni caso le ostriche erano perfette e freschissime e sono state servite in modo ineccepibile. Sul servizio ho un feedback un po' contrastante: quando siamo arrivati, il manager a cui ho chiesto il tavolo non ha nemmeno risposto al nostro saluto e stava guardando nervosamente il cellulare, limitandosi a chiedere "Name?"; più tardi è stato molto più cordiale. Successivamente, una delle cameriere è stata deliziosa e ha offerto un ottimo servizio; un altro cameriere, invece, per quanto a modo, si è avvicinato a controllare se avessimo finito o meno il piatto con fare da ispettore, senza chiedere nulla (poteva almeno fingere). Conto finale per un cocktayl, 18 ostriche (6 Gilardeau e un piatto Chef da 12), una bottiglia d'acqua e il vino meno costoso (31£ credo), circa 190£ servizio incluso, in due.

   It’s just a great restaurant with a neighbourhood atmosphere. I loved the grilled lobster and all the staff are charming and helpful.

   What a disappointment! The whole experience was a mess …sat down - 20 minutes before I could flag someone down to get a drink order. Train lobby/parking garage feeling of Bibendum was awash with children, dogs and prams - felt more like a noisy low budget crèche than a restaurant. Server (only 2 for 25 tables on a Saturday?!) was extremely slow and admitted to us immediately she had never eaten an oyster in her life…It’s an oyster restaurant! Every request had to be asked twice… if not thrice. all in all it was a miserable experience/ we won’t be back!

   Such a good menu and a place that seems to always be open is so welcome in the city that seems to have lost sight of customers wanting to eat when they want to rather than when they are told to … bravo Claude and the team

   Manager was great! I thought that I made a reservation at the fine dining restaurant. I was disappointed when I learned that I messed up and booked the Oyster Bar. So glad that I made that mistake. Oyster Bar manager was very understanding and welcoming. Had a great meal in a really interesting space. Very enjoyable!

    Absolutely our favourite restaurant in London. Service is incredible. Friendly but equally so professional and the food NEVER disappoints. As for sitting at a table surrounded by beautiful seasonal flowers….that has to be the ultimate in happiness for me.
