Big City Tavern is a busy, vibrant restaurant reminiscent of the great urban taverns of Chicago, New York and Boston. A stylish, classic American restaurant, Big City offers a varied menu featuring dry aged steaks, burgers, fresh seafood, salads and fresh house-made pasta of the day. Some of the more popular dishes are the Pan Roasted Salmon with Tomato and the House-Made Charcuterie. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all delicious. The extensive wine list emphasizes California varietals by the bottle or glass. With its magnificent grand bar always busy, Big City has a constant din of energy and conviviality. Big City offers outdoor sidewalk dining in the center of the action on Las Olas Blvd. If you have special needs, require high chairs or need assistance please notify us.

The food was amazing along with wonderful service. Everyone was friendly especially being on a holiday. Highly recommend!

Our server was great. Very accommodating with my food allergy. It was pretty loud, but it was Friday night and people were having a good time. The food was terrific. We had the halibut special and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. The drinks were great - highly recommend the lychee martini!

Awesome place! Service was great and the food was delicious! Their Mac & cheese is to die for! We will definitely be back!!

Amy our server was GREAT and let us take our time. Food and beverages were good as well and served timely w/o being rushed. Noise level was moderate due to very busy Friday night. I only gave it a 3 out of 5 stars due to very high food prices. We are not cheap when dining out but, 4 people (3) beers (2) house cabs (1) dirty martini (1) cheese tray app (3) fish & chips (1) bowl of soup $190 + tip $238 Gave waitress 25% for wonderful service! A little extreme for a Tap and Tavern spot even for Las Olas! 😎

Food was good. Nothing extraordinary. The service was excellent. As someone else mentioned, the bathrooms need attention.

They don't mention anywhere on their website that their main menu is not available before 5:00pm. Then they would not let us order drinks until dinner menu was available. We ordered salads and burger. Everything was over spiced, even though specific requests were made for no pepper. The manager came over to replace the meal covered in black pepper. He commented that "it's not pepper". Well, if it black, spicy, and flaky like ground pepper it is pepper. The food was nothing more than basic bar food. Thye only thing that was good was the mac & cheese. It was way too expensive for salads and a burger. Won't be going there again.
