Big Daddy’s Restaurant located in Massapequa, NY opened in 1993, specializing in the foods of New Orleans, Cajun, Creole and South. Often imitated, but never duplicated, Big Daddy’s remains the “Original Home of Southern Food & Moonshine.” The atmosphere is fun, casual and colorful which you will know as soon as you enter. The newly renovated bar features Louisiana swamp cypress and old time brick. Portions are big and so are the Hurricanes.

The food and atmosphere were great. We were not rushed and had time to enjoy the food without different courses being on the table at the same time.

The band was just a little bit too loud. Our server couldn’t hear some of us ordering. However, we love the food and the ambiance. We visit there often.

Even on a very busy Saturday evening, dinner, food fantastic, service good considering that there was a waiting line going out the door. Reservations a must on such a popular (with good reason) night. In sum - a very good experience!

Bid Daddy’s food and ambiance never disappoints. It’s different than most traditional restaurants and the food complex with many delicious layers, never just ordinary.

Personally, this was my first time here and not only was the ambience incredible but the food was wonderful as well. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves.
