Close to the Theatre Royal, Bill's is great for pre-show dinner or post-show drinks (or the other way around). Take your seats because the three-course show is about to begin. Service unorganised and left waiting almost an hour for dessert which we only got because I found someone to ask about it, of which they completely forgot. Also my partner kept getting water dripped on her from the pipes about our head. The food was good but definitely wouldn’t go back for the price paid.

Our overall experience was good although most of our food was very cold when served to us. Especially all the small plates. Staff were super friendly and attentive.

Despite having a reservation we waited quite a few minutes to be shown to our table. The team were friendly but service was slow and the wait between courses was long. The food was acceptable but not as good as our previous visits to Bills.

Despite booking a table, we had to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes before even being able to get in the door. When we finally were greeted, there was no apology, and the service throughout was the bare minimum. Yes, it was busy but there is no excuse for this. The food was very nice but it was appalling to add a service charge of 12.5% when we waited outside and had indifferent service. Really disappointing. There are many other pubs and restaurants I'm Bath, and I certainly won't be back to Bill's l. Nobody will read this or even care which is such a shame. I was treating my teenage son to lunch and wish I'd gone elsewhere

Quite a few of our party weren't too pleased with their food, one main had to be sent back! Everything just seemed very average.

Very busy and consequently very loud; not great for conversation. Too many tables for the space available so great for the profit margin, less so for ambience. The service was very good. The food was fine - good vegan burger.

Brilliant restaurant, we went there for brunch before the panto and the food was excellent and the service by everyone was fantastic, I highly recommend this place

We visited on a very busy Saterday just before Xmas, but were treated to an excellent 3 course dinner. Despite being busy we were served efficiently by waiters who were polite and helpful. There was no pressure to eat quickly and we were given time we wanted between the courses. In all we had a very pleasant meal
