Food was ok, service was average. The waitress we had (older one) didn’t seem very happy to be there which was off putting. Drinks were good. Overall a very mediocre experience and not one I’d be dying to go back to.

Lovely food and ambience - one small point was the server absolutely stank of cigarette smoke which was very off putting

We had a lovely brunch accompanied with Bloody Mary’s and Prosecco. Our waitress was fabulous👍

Food was good,valve for money.One of the waitress was a little bit brash could have used her manners.Would recommend to others.Beware of service charge, it should be your choice as on bill it's optional.

It was a very crammed lunchtime and even though people had booked their tables were not ready we caused a queue at the door at felt very cramped inside when you were sat down with not a lot of space to move, the food looked the business but it was almost all looks, the bacon was very hard and tasted batched cook, not a lot of colour for it to be that crispy. For the portion on the breakfast I’m not sure it’s worth the price. You only get 1 sausage; a spoonful of beans, some toast with not enough butter, some potato bites which were crispy but not really seasoned. We were in a slight rush to leave and asked for the bill, which had an “opt in service charge” but I was not asked by the server whether I would like this to be added on or not and was charged for it anyway. Little bit overhyped and not worth the price. Maybe would visit again but wouldn’t order the same.

I meet a friend there regularly The food is reasonably priced and altho we only ever have nibbles the staff are so accommodating and friendly Lovely setting and ambience

We had said it was our anniversary when we booked our reservation-we have been coming to Reading the same time for 10 years-always choosing Bill's to eat at on the Saturday night of our celebration weekend. Staff have always acknowledged our anniversary-We've had freecchocolates, coctails, puddings etc in the past and always had amazing customer service we are so disappointed as last night was nothing like our times previously 😢we actually don't know if we will return next year which is very sad😞
