   The food was lovely, but the service was poor and at times inattentive. We were given a mix of lunch and dinner menus, which was frustrating and delayed our order. The kids were unimpressed that they couldn't have the food they had chosen from the lunch menu. Service was slow, we arrived at 5:30 and left at 7:30. A small point was that this was a birthday dinner, which there was an option to tell the restaurant about in the booking process. I gave details of in the booking process, but this was not acknowledged when we were greeted or during the meal. I wasn't expecting anything free but am acknowledgement of how special the night was to us would have made the atmosphere a bit more personal.

   I think it was a bad experience, I made a reservation for 6.45 hours in advance, but when I arrived with my friends, I was told that our seats had been cancelled. We did not exceed the 15 minutes shown by the system but had to be asked to sit outside in the cold. Although the waiter changed us to eat inside later, I still think it was a bad experience and my friends and I felt very sad. We were looking forward to going to bills, but it was a terrible, unpleasant experience at first. And after this happened, no staff came to explain to us, I feel very speechless.

   Always enjoy a meal at Bills. The standard of service & food so comfortable. I know I’ll never be disappointed. Thanks Guys. That is what makes a great restaurant

   What a lovely place - delicious food, good wine and charming service. And consistent whether you go to Bills or Granger and Co in London or in Sydney. Kudos to the team!

   Generally fine. but the music was too loud. Staff they were unable to lower it any further. This is a problem with all restaurants we go to where they play bass/drums-heavy music which is completely inappropriate to the dining experience where we would like the able to talk to each other without raising our voices and straining our ears. Why restaurateurs think this is a desirable addition to the upmarket dining experience leaves me speechless. Not as bas bad as NYC's Balthazar. We are fairly regular customers so maybe a rethink is a good idea. Adding bass-heavy music to the otherwise great ambience is doubly flawed because the noise from other tables drowns out the higher frequencies so even if the music was familair we wouldn't know what was playing. No music is much preferred. We are not there to listen to music we don't like anyway. If we need music we can listen on our iphones without disturbing other patrons enjoyment. Plus you don't have the added expense of paying for music that only the staff enjoy. Off my soapbox. As said this is a system-wide problem and not exclusive to your establishment.

    One of the best ones my girlfriend and I have been to! I love how the waiters are very attentive to the situation of our food so that we don't have to wait as much for our main course, as well as everything else. The food was very delicious as well. What an experience!
