Every Bill Granger’s restaurant reflects the spirit we like to think of as ‘Australian’: sunny, easy-going and generous.

Bill opened his first restaurant in Sydney’s Darlinghurst in 1993. It soon became loved for its legendary breakfasts, served at the famous central communal table, where locals and travellers, families and friends, continue to be welcomed. Thirty years later, Bill’s relaxed, friendly and infectious joy in good, fresh food has become truly global, and is enjoyed at his restaurants in Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo and London.

Always enjoy a meal at Bills. The standard of service & food so comfortable. I know I’ll never be disappointed. Thanks Guys. That is what makes a great restaurant

What a lovely place - delicious food, good wine and charming service. And consistent whether you go to Bills or Granger and Co in London or in Sydney. Kudos to the team!

Generally fine. but the music was too loud. Staff they were unable to lower it any further. This is a problem with all restaurants we go to where they play bass/drums-heavy music which is completely inappropriate to the dining experience where we would like the able to talk to each other without raising our voices and straining our ears. Why restaurateurs think this is a desirable addition to the upmarket dining experience leaves me speechless. Not as bas bad as NYC's Balthazar. We are fairly regular customers so maybe a rethink is a good idea. Adding bass-heavy music to the otherwise great ambience is doubly flawed because the noise from other tables drowns out the higher frequencies so even if the music was familair we wouldn't know what was playing. No music is much preferred. We are not there to listen to music we don't like anyway. If we need music we can listen on our iphones without disturbing other patrons enjoyment. Plus you don't have the added expense of paying for music that only the staff enjoy. Off my soapbox. As said this is a system-wide problem and not exclusive to your establishment.

One of the best ones my girlfriend and I have been to! I love how the waiters are very attentive to the situation of our food so that we don't have to wait as much for our main course, as well as everything else. The food was very delicious as well. What an experience!

I always love eating at Bills on a special occasion. The decor is glamorous and the food is consistently delicious. My only feedback was that the food was slow to come out and there were big gaps between the entree and the main.

Such a gorgeous restaurant, the food was incredible and the staff are so kind. I ordered the prawn linguine and it was spectacular!

Venue was mostly empty but table was not ready at booked time. After 20 minutes we had to ask for menus and to order drinks because we were not being served in an empty restaurant. New dinner menu has seen many great classics gone.

We had the same dish back in March, and it was amazing, but unfortunately, it wasn't as good second time around.

Good food, went on Wednesday night so nice and quiet with warm ambience. Service was a bit lacking considering how quiet it was e.g empty drinks were left on the table, which would be a good opportunity for them to ask if we wanted another, but they didn’t, so our empty glasses just stayed there. They had more than enough waiters but they would just stand around, and looked like this was definitely just a job for them. Also made mention during booking that it was my partner’s birthday but there was zero acknowledgment of this during the service even when our dessert came out, so not sure why they asked if it was a special occasion during booking. Nevertheless we’ve been here a few times and generally it’s better so we will be back regardless.

An interesting menu with thoughtful variety. Our pasta and curry mains were excellent. Same for the wine list. The service was professional and friendly.
