Birba is the perfect al fresco date spot for a warm, breezy desert evening. Since 2011, Birba has been serving up handcrafted seasonal cocktails, homemade pizza + pasta ( Gluten-free + cauliflower crust available!) in an almost entirely outdoor setting. Cozy right up to the bar for a Lavender Collins or linger at a table chatting with friends. Birba is chic yet down-to-earth, welcoming with a sophisticated edge.                                                           Food was just ok. Involtini di Melanzane should be on the dessert menu, as this particular dish was beyond sweet and nothing crispy as described in the menu. Pizza was ok, the stand out of the menu was the bread and pizza dough - amazing ! Service slow due to the amount of costumers versus the staff taking care of tables, clearly overwhelmed for the staff, unable to provide a good service and follow up on requests.

                                                          Always fun place to go with friends. Lovely courtyard with lights and heaters. Salads were really good as starters. Pizza was tasty, but crust could have been more well done. Pasta with pesto was good, but a little bland. Squash gnocchi were good. Butterscotch pudding was outstanding.

                                                          This was our first experience at Birba, which is all al fresco. Aside from the tree debris, everything was clean and nice looking. the food and drinks were rather expensive, but delicious. The restaurant was busy, but no one was kept waiting for long.

                                                          We have dined here many times and usually have a much better experience. We were sat in the very back of the restaurant with no heater and no light. We asked for a heater that was not being used and the waiter said it was unavailable. The waiter gave no introduction and seemed rushed to take our drink order before everyone was even at the table. Pasta servings were comical, maybe 4 pieces of gnocchi in the pasta dish. Birba pizza was good. Meatballs came out cold. Very disappointed this time around, unlikely to return.
