We had a positive first impression of Birch, but unfortunately, our experience soured later that evening. After leaving the restaurant, we received multiple calls from the staff. When I finally answered, the manager explained that our server had mistakenly given us another table’s bill and that we owed additional money. However, the “mix-up” turned out to be an uncharged bottle of wine, not an actual billing error. We were in a rush to make it to a show, so we handed over our credit cards without reviewing the check. While I’m happy to pay for what we owe, the lack of transparency from the manager was disappointing. Had they been upfront about forgetting to include the wine, I wouldn’t be writing this review. Given that we live in the building next door, we had hoped Birch would become a regular spot for us, but this experience makes it unlikely we’ll return.

Made a reservation and we didn’t know that it was the French Bistro pop up night. Wow! What an amazing experience from the service (thank you Lola) to the drinks and ultimately the food. Outstanding experience!

We started at the bar, ordered a couple cocktails, and split the Birch Burger as an appetizer. After that we sat at the Chef’s Counter and had dinner. We had the Shaved Fennel, Duck Fazzoletti, and the Contramar-Inspired Fish. Everything was delicious — we’ll be back

The food we ordered was interesting and quite tasty. We were especially impressed with the cabbage and raclette offering!

Every aspect of dining at Birch is handled with care and attention. The servers and runners give time and respect to each table without seeming rushed or stressed. The chefs maintain professionalism in a high paced environment and put out some of the most incredible food I've ever had. Any time a visitor comes to town, I make sure to bring them to Birch as it is a Can't Miss. Extra special shout out to the General Manager Jeff, who curates a truly unique, special experience for anyone who walks through the door. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Had an exceptional experience at Birch! Our server, Katie, was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and they even left a birthday card for our friend who was celebrating. Chef de Cuisine Zach stopped by our table twice to ensure we were enjoying our food. Every single bite was amazing, cocktails were perfectly made, and the chocolate mint meringue we had for dessert was extraordinary 💯. Highly recommend celebrating a special occasion or treating yourself at Birch!
