Bistro Freddie is a 45-cover restaurant in the heart of Shoreditch showcasing the best in British produce and French wine.

The menu is inspired by classic British and French gastronomy. Expect seasonal starters, bold mains and pies to share, as well as larger cuts of meat cooked over fire.

Curated by Alex Price, Bistro Freddie’s all-French wine list focusses on real wines that reflect a sense of place. The wine list takes a deep dive into all corners of France, exploring a variety of styles, regions and producers.

Nestled in Shoreditch, you're invited to an intimate NYE celebration at Bistro Freddie, with a 3 course feast from our Head Chef Alexandre Reynolds. Choose from starters like monkfish carpaccio, heritage leeks with aged Comte and truffle, or foie gras with spiced pear and ginger. Mains feature prime aged beef with classic sauces, dayboat whole fish, or our artichoke pithivier – all with triple-cooked chips and buttered cabbage - and finishing with our famous sticky toffee pudding with Armagnac custard. The team will be opening special bottles from our cellar, pouring vintage champagne and stirring you up the wettest martinis this side of the Thames. Luxury food supplements available, of course.

Piccolo ma affollatissimo e rumorosissimo bistrot a Shoreditch, quartiere giovane e movimentato molto di moda. Atmosfera intima con tavoli vicinissimi. Menù corto con poche scelte, ma piatti gustosi e ben preparati. Buona scelta dei vini. Servizio veloce con dei giovani ragazzi molto gentili. Conto elevato più per il vino che per i piatti.

So so. Not worth the hype. Overly salty and overly sweet desserts. Nice ambiance but just more style than substance. Had better steak at Home Tipple in Walthamstow Village last week.

Fantastic dinner. Sat at the bar which actually looks over the kitchen and was able to watch the very talented chefs make our meal. Must when in London.

The best vibe and the best food and wine - honestly such an amazing place and staff! The only thing - and it’s not a criticism as I get the space is the space just more a consideration for others - is that as a larger person the space is very tight! That aside I would 100% recommend

Totally delicious food especially the exquisite sauces for each main course. The flatbreads were very special and I could eat two as my main! Service and ambience were both lovely. Two less positive points: the wines we chose weren’t available so we tasted a few to find one liked. Secondly, we were five adults enjoying a birthday meal but felt rushed from the beginning. On arrival I was greeted with ‘we have back to back bookings’ and you have two hours. This was a Monday at 6pm. We all felt that for five people, enjoying wines and three courses, that two hours wasn’t long enough. For two people, yes, but for five I feel we should have had up to three hours. That said the food was all delicious, friendly service but we didn’t have enough time for desserts so went else where.
