Here is the background on the makeup of our Restaurant.The Bistro was born in September of 2002. Owned and operated by Declan Hoctor, Executive Chef: Paul Hughes, and John & Angela O’Sullivan of Roly’s Bistro of Dublin (Ireland). Our Fare is American with a European flair. Executive Chef, Paul Hughes trained in the Savoy Hotel in London for 9 years as well as Roly’s Bistro in Dublin, two of the most respected hostelries in Europe. Roly’s in Dublin was voted Restaurant of the year for 2010, also voted Chef of the year. Our team of Chef’s has won numerous competitions, and awards representing restaurant & country for their creative and inventive food. We love what we do! Just remember!

    Delightful patio dining alongside a pond surrounded by greenery and flowers. Skillfully varied menu makes selection a wonderful adventure. Always delicious, served with perfection by exceptional staff.

    Very busy that Sat night. Having been there many times previously I should have picked a weeknight NOT in high season. They did as well as could be expected.

    service was good, My sole was very good. Asked for almonds on the sole, never arrived. Surprised by the $3 charge to split a salad. The soufflé was terrible, overwhelmed with too much dough. We have been a frequent dinner over the years, First time back this year,. It’s just not the same. Bob

    Our first visit here, Valentines Evening. Beautiful restaurant, patio setting was perfect. Great ambiance & very good service. All was excellent except the main reason we came , the steaks. I believe , it being so busy, the meat wasn’t seasoned. Very bland taste of the steak on my wife’s Surf n Turf, the same with my Beef Wellington. I’m sure it was a mistake due to the crowd at this restaurant. Better luck next visit.

    It was Valentine's Day thus very busy and chaotic, but the staff was friendly, efficient and patient. Once seated, orders were taken promptly and delivered hot. Impressive

    We like Bistro, but we made the huge mistake of visiting on Valentines Day, when the restaurant chose to put more tables than they had staff to handle the ensuing mob appropriately. The service was inconsistent and delayed. The salmon was dry and overcooked. Overall, it was a poor experience.

    You are correct we do put more tables in but only to accommodate the configuration of mostly 2's. Very few tables of more than 4 so most of the large tables of 8-12 are removed to facilitate that, Overall we would seat fewer people but the restaurant would look busier. We had 15 servers, 11 bussers and 4 bartenders. I know we were running about 15 minutes behind on getting tables back from early reservations but the food was being delivered right on time for food that is cooked to order. I accept it's possible your salmon was overcooked, unusual but possible, but we would have been happy to fix it for you quickly to ensure a better experience, had we been notified. Please make yourself known to me on a future visit so I can show you how a pleasant experience is our norm.

    Everything was very good, the service people are absolutely outstanding. The place was packed for Valentines Day, our reservation was at 7:00 and at 7:05 we were being seated at a wonderfully located table. The service people friendly, helpful and courteous as always, the drinks, salads and entrees came out right on point. Always a GREAT experience at The Bristo! Thank you

    Went here for Valentines Day, very busy but we were seated within 5 mins of our reservation. The service was very good, she explained what was happening with the orders running slightly behind due to the high number of tables changing over at the same time. We enjoyed the food and wine and had a very enjoyable date night❤️👍
