    From the moment we entered, we were greeted by an unsmiling hostess with a very underwhelming welcoming to service that made us feel like we needed to hurry up and leave for the next guests. The 3 service offering came one on top of the other despite my asking them to slow down. The only person who made us feel welcome and valued was the bartender who provided an excellent service. The food was also underwhelming, not as tasty or refined as I had come to expect from Bistro Là Franquette. Perhaps it was because of the set menu for Valentines Day, but the food tasted pre prepared and lacked uplifting. The portions were microscopic. My partners cod main course was 3-4 bites. Overall disappointing and given the choices in that price range in Montreal creates pause when considering to return.

    One of our favorite restaurants in Montreal. They are always so accommodating. Great quality food and the coziest atmosphere
