   Ordered drinks form the bar, an appetizer, salad and 3 dinners. Drinks took a little while but were very good. Our salad (Cesar) was absolutely delicious. The crappy capers made it better than an average salad. Our dinners arrived and we asked about our appetizer and they said the appetizers come from a different kitchen(?) so they were still working on it, but we didn’t want it if our dinners were already at the table. They were understanding and took it off the bill. I ordered the short rib and it was delicious. I subbed the polenta for risotto and it was so good. Husband got the sea bass and he said it was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a little sweet. My son got the pasta and the sauce was so watery it was off putting, so he just ate the proteins out of it. All in all, food was really good, but a little pricey. Would go back though.

   We had a delicious meal. This is our favorite restaurant in Dillon. I had the pork chop and my husband had the salmon. Cocktail was great too. Loved it!

   We were at Bistro North to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted with a happy birthday and led to our table where a birthday card signed by many was waiting. Our server was excellent and the manager, Jessica came over to introduce herself and to wish a happy birthday. Our meal of fresh mahi mahi and beef Wellington were both excellent. We shared a molten chocolate dessert with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. I would highly recommend Bistro North.

   With today’s high prices for eating out, the difference between a good and great restaurant is the service. And Bistro North hits the mark!

   I was celebrating my birthday. There was birthday card for me on my table, which was a nice touch. But the service and food were ok at best. I ordered a cocktail and it was way too bitter. Our steaks were properly cooked, but when I pay $72 for a wagyu steak, I expect it to be high quality. This was not. Service was the biggest issue. Inattentive and somewhat off putting. Nice place, but the experience was not a good one.

   Bistro North is one of our favorite restaurants to take guests from out of town. The food is always wonderful and the service is great.

    In the past, we have been a fan of Bistro-North. Last night our opinion changed. There has been a significant decrease in the menu options for dining and the new chef is reluctant to listen to the wishes of his customers. Both the burger and the steak special (filet, oscar) were woefully undercooked than what we ordered even though we were adamant about the desired temperature through the waitress. Additionally, the burger bun seemed to have been overly basted in oil to the point that the bun disintegrated after the first couple of bites - the rest was left due to the semi-raw nature of the meat. Finally, this was always a "go to" place for us for a nice date night dinner; but, last night it seemed to be filled with children that were not being controlled by parents. This is not completely the restaurant's fault, but it was obviously accepted. We do enjoy the drinks and the appetizers and for the future a visit to the bar will be our only reason to visit this establishment. Dining is no longer a desire.
