Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Wouldn’t know. Restaurant closed early because kitchen went down. In March this is my second poor experience here. Not sure what’s going on with this place

We had a 530 reservation. We arrived at 5:20. She told us she would seat us closer to 530. We sat at 5:39 at a table that was empty when we arrived. We ordered our food. Food arrived timely when we were departing there was a sign posted. We cannot serve hamburgers or steaks due to a technical difficulty.

All five of us were crammed into a tiny u shaped booth by the front entrance. It was freezing cold and no room to comfortably dine. Had to send burger back as it was well done vs medium. Waitress was very sweet and did a nice job getting another burger quickly out.

Kimball, our server was attentive and helpful! Food was excellent. Music was way too loud but we asked them to turn it down and they did.

I made a reservation for a Friday afternoon in late February at 4:30 pm. Thank God I did as the place was bonkers. The server did the best he could given the circumstances. Drinks were delivered in a timely manner. He took our order within a reasonable time frame. The salads arrived on time with about a teaspoon of dressing. Had to ask for more which came quickly. Waited a long time for our entrees. My ribs were cooked to perfection. The pizzas for the others were undercooked probably due to the stress in the kitchen to get the orders out. The desserts were delayed but finally arrived. I've probably eaten at BJ's Mesa, Arizona 25 times and for the most part the experience has been excellent. February in Mesa, AZ is snow bird heaven on steroids...not sure how any restaurant can cope with the massive invasion of senior citizens all wanting to eat at the same time. Will return to BJ's for lunch....

Great selection on menu. Food a bit slow arriving but it was a busy Friday night. Service was good. Special ( prime Rib ) was very good value.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. We were celebrating a special event and I advised them that I would like a certain dessert with a candle. I was advised to let my server know upon arrival. I found our server to be very uninformed When I mention my request she looked at me and informed me that I would have to pay for this. I told her no problem since it was a special occasion. She proceeded to take our drink orders. We requested a Bloody Mary and advise us she never heard tell of this. So we ordered a Rye and water and Rye and ginger ale. They shortly came back with water for the table and took our order with appetizer and main course. After waiting for a while Iwe still had not received our drinks. A period later our appetizer apear and still no drinks. Halfway through our appetizer our drinks appear. The whisky were in a shot glass accompanied with a 10 oz glass full of ginger ale. Our server left leaving us look at each other wondering how we were suppose to mix our drinks. I chased our server down and requested two glasses so we could combine the Rye with our mix. Our food came and my medium sreak was well done and the asparagus although plentiful were no bigger then a straw and still had their stem on the. After our meal we were waiting for our special desert surprise only with our bill. I checked the bill to see if we were charged for the desert we did not received. I was relieved ther was no charge but was surprised that in addition to being charged for the whisky we were charged $3.00 for the ginger ale. I am grateful you never charged us extra for the two extra glasses. Very disappointed in the overall evening. Been ther once and will never go back, Thank you

The server we had was awesome! Meal was 'ok' but my steak was way too tough. When you can’t cut it with the steak knife then it is hard to chew. Shrimp scampi was good. We told our waitress and she compensated with a pizookie at reduced fee. Noise level was pretty high but our group of 4 were fortunate to sit in what was probably the best booth available
