Thanks to the Coravin System, we now have the freedom to pour a single glass of wine from any bottle without opening it. Skimpy for $15 cocktails; chewy inedible bacon in chopped salad; odd mac & cheese pasta choice and watery; lobster was dry but crab cake was outstanding. Service was pleasant. Overall not as good as last visit.

It was our first time here and we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. The service was outstanding. The food was wonderful. Steaks were cooked perfectly and very tasty. We also had Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, mashed potatoes, mushrooms and a banana trifle. They also gave us a piece of flourless chocolate cake with a birthday candle. It is a good special occasion restaurant. All the staff were friendly and accommodating including people at the front desk and staff who cleared the table. Two thumbs up!

Food tasted good, but found a piece of glass in wagyu meatballs. Manager was apologetic and took off the meatballs from bill but then service went downhill afterwards. We were left ignored for a while and then all of a sudden rushed. Other mistakes were made in our order which we didn’t bother to bring up. Will not be returning.

Dinner for my husbands 60th birthday so asked for a quiet spot .. We were seated next to kitchen and bar area which is always noisy/busy .. it was very busy for a Tuesday evening but than again it is December No where to hang our coats .. so laid them on bench I guess they don’t offer specials because we did not hear then Being it was a damp and chilly night we both had the She-crab bisque .. unfortunately no crab to be seen .. waiter was nice to take off bill My husband had twin filet Oscar with crab on top and some asparagus no potatoes or other sides I guess restaurants are charging extra for that I had the Sea Scallops expecting to see a piece of lobster and side of asparagus.. it was all chopped into Risotto which in menu description it sounded like it was sides A piece of chocolate torte was placed on table for my husbands birthday and free which is nice .. It was good, not fantastic that I would go again ..

We very much enjoy Black and Blue. The service has always been outstanding, and their food is prepared wonderfully. We were 4 for dinner: appetizers - tuna tartare (always an excellent choice), Caesar salad (shared) and crab cake, dinner - ribeye steak (simply unbelievable, wish I could do a steak at home like this), salmon, 2 short ribs. Portions are perfect, and maybe even a bit large so no complaints. Again, the food is excellent, but where B&B shines is service. We have dined in Williamsville, Burlington and Wellesley and always have enjoyed attentive, friendly and positive service. Well done again Black and Blue!!
