                                                                                                Serata con musica dal vivo inaspettata. Cibo gradevole con un ottimo corn bread . La jambalaya era superba! Sicuramente un locale dove tornare se mai dovessi venire ancora ad Hartford!

                                                                                                Wonderful New Year’s experience. Loved the band, folks danced, tables were festival decorated with hats and party favors. Food was very good, ambience was great. Server was excellent despite having to cover 10-12 tables solo. She did her best, was pleasant and did not miss a beat. She deserves a special shout out! Overall great new years experience., with short walk to Bushnell park to see fireworks!

                                                                                                We have been going often but the last couple of times were terrible. Upcharged for everything without a warning. Sat for 15 minutes without a waitress and then waited forever for our food that came out separately and we had to ask for some of it. The mac and cheese was cold. The waffles soggy and the brisket was hard. We will be on a pause. Normally have such a great experience.

                                                                                                Booked a table for five at 4:15 before a Wolfpack 6:00 Saturday game. When we arrived, the restaurant had only a few patrons. Decor was fun - we were seated in a large booth and they added a chair at the end for our 5th. Ordered drinks - hard cider, beers and hurricanes (which were quite sour compared to the original Nawlins' version). Server was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to our requests. The big bummer was the food, which was "meh" at best. Everyone in our party ordered something different and we all had the same disappointing experience. When it was time to get our check to get to the game in time, we had trouble tracking down our server for the bill ($240 total before tip!) as the restaurant had gotten quite busy. Overall experience was definitely not worth the money.

                                                                                                We had a reservation as it was a night that UConn was playing at the XL Center and were seated on time. The place was packed and there probably weren't enough waitstaff on duty but we were able to dine and leave with enough time to make the start of the game. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. The food came out hot and was delicious. We will try this place again for sure and make an earlier reservation next time.

                                                                                                The Wait Service was the non existent. Apparently, the Bartender was supposed to be our server. However, she was all into flirting with one of the guys at the bar. It took forever for someone else to take our order. When we tried to get another young lady to assist us (Hispanic/Glasses), she said: “It’s not her section and wouldn’t assist us.” Also, the lady whom I believe to be the manager or owner wasn’t there. That might be why the wait service SUCKED. I wouldn’t recommend giving Black Eyed Sally’s your business

                                                                                                I had a wonderful experience with good friends great music and amazing BBQ. The band played great jazzy funk and the crowd loved it. The was a celebrity musical appearance. The smoked ribs were to die for. This place has been around forever.it should be sold out every night.
