WHY EAT ORDINARY, WHEN YOU CAN EAT ON A ROCK?!

You are booking a PRIORITY seating, similar to a call ahead. We do not do reservations. You will be put on our list and when your entire party has arrived you will get the next available table. Please make sure to check in with the host and we will be sure to seat you as soon as possible but this doesn't mean it will be at the exact time of your priority booking. It was a fun experience to cook your own steak on a Hawaiian lava rock the place gets a bit smokey but the steak was delicious and our waitress was amazing

Took a very long time for service. We had to wait an additional 25 minutes although we had a reservation for a table. Food was good.

We have been going for years, however last night I am not sure I will go back. It was very hot in there and server did not provide the presentation Black Rock is to do. We then asked for a drink and were told he couldn’t do it. So overall last night, very disappointed!!

Over price and felt like we were walking into a fire. Not a good kind of smoke, steaks were full of gristle and fat.

It is sad that Black Rock has changed so many things in the couple of months that we have not visited. The HUGE Menu is overkill ... The menu with appetizers and other things was just confusing. What happened to the nice menu's you used to have. They were more user friendly and the choices were phenomenal. Seems the grade level of the good has deminished as well. The doors coming into the establishment was open and it was very windy outside and was blowing leaves and dirt into the restaurant. It gave a very dirty feel. When our drinks was delivered to the table, the soda's were flat and other drinks had to be ordered. Not enough servers for number of party guests. Not sure we will be back .. We usually celebrate 4 or 5 Birthdays a year with party size of 8 or more and sometimes (2 or 3 times) we just want the food and atmosphere... I am sure we are not the only one's that have large parties ...because I have seen many many large parties that go to Black Rock as well. But yesterday, I didn't see parties with more than 4 guests. Everyone was complaining about their drinks and service being so slow. The Host was training a new employee and the front desk was being left unattended for 5 to 7 minutes and the new employee didn't seem like he was willing to jump in and help with anything. Our server was doing his best, but it seemed like he was wearing multiple hats (multiple responsibilities including managing). Bring Back What You Had Going On... IT Was Working ... The Change Is Not Regretfully Concerned Guest

I love Black Rock! I have never been disappointed when I go there! I always get. Sirloin and sweet potato with a salad! The steak and sweet potato are the best I have ever had! Love going on Sunday where Long Island ice tea is $3.50!
