Blacklock Shoreditch is set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. Expect the usual highest quality meat from Phillip Warren in Cornwall for unbeatable value and always lots of fun.

On Sundays it's our award winning Sunday Roasts, almost as good as Mum’s.

L’antipasto era molto buono perchè la carne cotta a bassa temperatura era tenera e succosa. Inoltre, aveva dei pezzetti crispy che erano molto piacevoli al palato. La carne era di ottima qualità, anche se di piccole dimensioni, era cotta alla perfezione ed aveva un ottimo sapore. Il personale si prende cura di te dall’inizio alla fine, preoccupandosi che sia tutto ok e tutto sia di gradimento: abbiamo richiesto un altro side e ci è stato portato nonostante la cucina fosse ormai chiusa. Anche il dolce era molto buono ed una perfetta conclusione per una cena deliziosa. Prezzi, infine, molto concorrenziali a Londra: un antipasto diviso in due, due fette di carne, tre sides e un dolce sono costati 75 pounds.

Outstanding food. If you love steaks this is the place for you. The service was great, lovely drinks and the best steaks you can enjoy. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend.

We hadn’t finished eating yet and wanted to keep the plate with the mushroom toast. I had already told the staff, but after about a minute, she took the plate away. She only realized after taking it to the kitchen and put it back to my table. I told her it was fine and she could take it, and she said she would give me a new sauce. However, the sauce charge was added to the bill. First of all, I didn’t order the sauce, and secondly, since she accidentally took my plate, shouldn’t I be compensated? Nevertheless, the other staff were very nice, so I didn’t make a fuss.

Was looking for a place for Sunday dinner in London that would be great food at a reasonable price. This was mid-range in price but top end for quality and quantity. Service was attentive without being over-bearing and ambience was lively when we arrived at 7:30pm but quieter by 9pm. Recommend the sharing Sunday roasts if dining as a pair/couple but arrive hungry and go easy with the starters. You won’t leave hungry.

Great Sunday roast Would give it a solid 8 out of 10 My only quibble would be that the lamb was chewy and that next time I would just go for the beef and not have the mixed meats apart from that a great experience Also cauliflower cheese wasn’t for me was slightly too soft
