The service was super slow! It took us an hour to get drinks, which is a lot even for 15 people that are split between 2 tables. Then we ordered food and 4 couples ordered the gumbo on the menu. After everyone got their food at the table they said the gumbo would be right out. An HOUR after everyone had finished eating their meals we were still waiting and they finally came out and said “we can’t make it”. Then when splitting up the checks the food we never received was still on there. Absolutely ridiculous and so sad I wasted my time and money at that place.

I went here to celebrate my anniversary at 10 promptly because they advertise that they’re open until 1 AM so you’d see the kitchen closing at about 12:30 or 12. However, that wasn’t the case for all items on the menu. We came in, were seated quickly but it took maybe 30-40 minutes if not more until we were greeted by a server, who never came back so then another server came to greet us and take our order. Maybe another 30 to 40 minutes or more waiting on food and mine was brought out but my partner’s never arrived. We were told afterwards that the chef, when presented with our order, wasn’t doing anymore oysters for the night and I don’t think the managers were too keen on instructing them to do so either. I just felt like it was very unorganized, we were wasted our whole night there and we left without eating the food that was brought out. I had ordered blackened redfish for $38, which came out on top of some vegetables I could’ve made at home. It was extremely overpriced (a tourist trap) and a bad experience to have at a new restaurant we’ve been waiting to try since it opened.

The food was good , little over priced . The staff was not friendly at all . The drinks were ok not great . I didn’t like my experience their at all I do not recommend.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an amazing meal. But what truly made the night was our fantastic server, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and offered excellent recommendations. Now, let’s talk about the food – absolutely out of this world. The charred oysters were, hands down, the best we’ve ever had. Smoky, buttery, and packed with flavor, they were the highlight of our meal. It’s clear that Blue Bayou knows how to elevate classic New Orleans cuisine. Every bite was perfection, and it’s safe to say that it’s the best food we’ve had in NOLA. Highly recommend this gem if you're in town!

Ordered dozen oysters only received 1/2 dozen. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad it came to table way after my husbands food came out and it had NO DRESSING on it. How does one mess up a salad. At this point my husband was done eating so I just said I didn’t want it . Didn’t receive anything for this mess up ridiculous

Great experience. Oysters and brownie was great! We had joyed ourselves. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great ambience. I can’t wait to go back.

Had a reservation for seven got there had no place for us. Had to wait approximately 35 minutes for a table then couldn’t get a waitress took forever to get drinks. One person never did get their food too many other places around to eat will not go back.
