You’ve reached the home of deliciously authentic and fabulously fresh Turkish and British dining in Stanley, co. Durham.

The Blue Bell has been a hub in the community for many years.

The main restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and special occasions, serving speciality dishes from Turkey and some traditional British meals, including traditional Sunday lunch.

We offer an ice cream parlour featuring a variety of delectable flavours, creamy milkshakes, a vibrant play area and a relaxing beer garden.

We have a disabled entrance to the rear of the property with a ramp to the entrance straight from our large car park.

Nicely set up. All food was not to my personal taste. But that's on preference. Food cooked well and faiky priced. Staff were great. Made you feel special

Sunday lunch was stunning, the service was super friendly and quick, the rice pudding is to die for! Lovely venue cant wait to see it decorated for Christmas

Always a pleasure? Usually have the Turkish food but opted for Sunday lunch. Really nice Yorkshire puddings were top class!

Amazing food and service as always. The chicken shish was fab and I’m sure the portions are getting bigger. Mushrooms to start are in the most amazing garlic creamy sauce my favourite. Great service and a lovely afternoon with friends.

Had a lovely night, relaxed, warm atmosphere. Food as ever was delicious and well portioned loads of lovely choices . Staff were friendly and efficient nothing was too much trouble
