Liberty Entertainment Group's 2024 project in the iconic Union Station. Blue Bovine combines the traditional steakhouse with the traditional Japanese sushi house to fashion a distinctly modern dining experience. Combining custom elements, such as exclusively designed Canadian maple wood furniture, manufactured in Toronto with bespoke artwork, handcrafted lighting details, and a warm colour palette of deep reds, seawater blues and layers of white to reflect Toronto's four seasons. Honouring the integrity of local and natural elements, the restaurant's ethos is expressed both through the commitment to local menu ingredients on the plate and local and natural material honesty in the design.

    Our server Andy was terrific!! He was very knowledgeable about everything we asked about. The restaurant is large but very welcoming. It is modern yet very cozy. The food was fantastic and they have the tiniest details down to a science. Something as small as serving the mini cheese popovers warm and whipped herb butter that is in a small bowl with a cloth napkin that is place on a mini wood board

    Loved having a late night bite to eat and nightcap at Bovine. Out waitress was lovely and we really had a great time!

    The upsell was hard without any finesse. Although we asked that the food ( appetizer and main) can be delivered all at once, we found that the mains were not delivered at the same time and that we ate at all different times. If we waited, then some food would have been cold The host staff was friendly, but found the wait staff, standoffish or even snobby. The food was ok, but if you are looking for really good and value, this is not the place.

    We had sushi and appetizers. The service was amazing and the ambience was great. Unfortunately the food was a little disappointing and expensive given the quality.

    Food and service were great. But the restaurant was noisy, music was loud and did not feel like an upscale restaurant for the price we were paying. Not a good place for a romantic dinner.

    The BB staff were accommodating with a few changes to our Sagittarius season birthday reservation (Saturday 7:30pm). While the music initially seemed loud, it was actually perfect, allowing our group to enjoy our conversations without distractions. The staff for our table was polite, kind and attentive. We all enjoyed our mostly seafood orders. All was fresh and tasted great! The Saggies received a lovely take-home keepsake. From the seamless reservation to the warm farewell from the demure and mindful young lady who helped us with our coats, every part of the evening felt thoughtful and welcoming. It was a wonderful experience!
