Liberty Entertainment Group's 2024 project in the iconic Union Station. Blue Bovine combines the traditional steakhouse with the traditional Japanese sushi house to fashion a distinctly modern dining experience. Combining custom elements, such as exclusively designed Canadian maple wood furniture, manufactured in Toronto with bespoke artwork, handcrafted lighting details, and a warm colour palette of deep reds, seawater blues and layers of white to reflect Toronto's four seasons. Honouring the integrity of local and natural elements, the restaurant's ethos is expressed both through the commitment to local menu ingredients on the plate and local and natural material honesty in the design.

    We made reservations using the Open Table app...super easy. Friendly staff greeted us as we came in and we were escorted to our table. The ambiance was very warm and the decor was contemporary. Our server Robert T was friendly as well and spent the time to ensure we were ready. We ordered a Sushi Tower for 2 and Robert suggested we try Uni for the first time. The presentation was stunning and the taste was spectacular. Best sushi that we have ever had in a very long time. It was fresh and just perfect.. Robert did stop by on occassion to ensure we were satisfied and we did have a brief discussion. He knew the right time to disengage to allow us to enjoy our experience. We highly recommend the sushi and perhaps next time we'll try the steak. 5 star experience. Thank you!!!

    Have been to many other liberty group establishments and this by far was my least favourite. Service was not great, didn’t get sides until almost done mains. Had to be reminded. Food cold, just not the level of service/ quality of food you’d expect for the money.

    Wasn’t the greatest I’ve had better the food wasn’t done the way I wanted it was burning hot the fries I burnt my tongue the service was ok

    Had a wonderful experience. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect. Portion sizes were bigger than we expected. Food and service were excellent!

    Server and service was slow at first, they were definitely slammed. . It’s loud but that’s the vibe. Food came out fast once ordered. And very good

    Had a great pre-show dinner with friends before heading over to Scotiabank arena. Steaks were perfect and wine selection was top shelf. Will be back for next event.

    It was a beautiful space with a great menu. The variety and quality was awesome. We got there around 3:30 and service was great, but definitely declined as the time passed and the restaurant got busier. I don't believe anyone checked on us when it came to our meals. It was more just drop off and clean up.
