We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened 2017, this is Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood's flagship location. Our approach is to create honest food and drinks and serve them in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Seafood cooked to perfection. I am GF DF and they accommodated my grilled fish and beets accordingly.

The service is very good. The Monday $1.31 oysters are a deal. The other oysters are way too expensive. I have had the lobster and avocado salad a three times. The one I had recently was below average and way too expensive -- alot of bib lettuce and not much lobster or avocados.

Prices seem to have moved higher since last visit, and it is impossible to find any relative value on the wine list for under $50/bottle, which is frustrating. Service and food quality remain very good.

I love going here! I’ve been visiting for almost two years now and I’d consider it one of my favorite go-tos! they have such a great oyster deal on Mondays, an expansive happy hour menu with great cocktails and honestly everything I’ve tried here has been amazing!

We moved from coastal Northern California to Colorado a couple of years ago, and really miss buying our own oysters at the docks, as well as the plethora of fantastic seafood restaurants. We were skeptical about any restaurant here claiming to serve fresh seafood, but finally decided to try Blue Island Oyster Bar - and, to our delight, it was amazing. The clam chowder was great, as was my prosciutto-wrapped scallop entree. We’ll definitely return, and soon!
