Blue Plate Oysterette was inspired by East Hampton summer lobster bakes and mouthwatering lunches at Montauk’s favorite roadside eateries. With influences like Pearl Oyster Bar and Mary’s Fish Camp in New York, Oysterette serves lunch and dinner seven days a week with a menu straight out of the seafood shacks you find on the East Coast. Chunky, overflowing lobster rolls, buckets of steamed clams in broth so flavorful that bread demands to be dunked, clam chowder, mussels in broth, ceviche, and raw shellfish so fresh you can smell the ocean. Filling the void in the Westside restaurant scene for a casual, beachy, seafood restaurant and buzzing neighborhood vibe appealing to both surfers and studio heads.

My sister and I enjoyed our dinner. We sat on the patio. Was a little chilly with jacket and sweater near the heater. Food was yummy. Our waiter made excellent suggestions and gave wonderful service. We will definitely make the trip again from Ventura County in the summer time. Thank you for a pleasant evening of delicious seafood.

The restaurant was quaint and cozy inside. The food was amazing! We especially liked the lobster mac and cheese. We would go back just for it! I also enjoyed the grilled oysters and bouillabaisse. The hostess, waiter and busboy were really nice too. Would definitely recommend!

Service was excellent. We had to make last second changes to the orders and our server handled it beautifully and didn’t make us feel bad for doing so. Water cup was always full. The Mediterranean Brazino was super delicious in fact all that we ordered was super delicious. Valet Parking was right next door. The cost was $170 for 3 people including tax+tip. It was a very good experience. Valet was separate $20.

We loved our evening at Blue Plate! The oysters were the best. The sunset was beautiful. I would recommend this place.
