This waterfront locale is historically known as the launching site of our country's first submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Poised at the breach between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal amongst the spectacular sunset views and balmy ocean breezes of the Isle of Palms.     La cucina è davvero buona, e il locale molto caratteristico, ma i tempi di attesa sono stati molto lunghi: mezz’ora per sedersi e più di un’ora per mangiare qualcosa. Abbiamo però apprezzato che il manager, per scusarsi, ci abbia offerto la birra e un dolce.

    Lobster was outstanding. We saw several pods of dolphins out on the water. Was a bit cloudy, if not we would have had a fantastic sunset view. Staff was great. Wonderful experience for our first time, we will be coming back!

    This was our first visit. The food was fantastic. The hush puppies were delicious. The steak melted in your mouth. We also had yummy crab legs and crab cake. We also had the turtle cheesecake which was fresh and delicious. It was tastier than a more expensive restaurant we recently visited. The waiter (Brian H) was very attentive. We sat on the enclosed heated porch with a view of the water. It was warm even though it was 40 degrees outside. Loved it.

    Server and food were both excellent. Unfortunately we were seated at table 101 (corner Outside) on an unusually cold night and there was very little warmth coming from the heater that was one table away. Maybe on super/unusually cold evenings table 101 should not be available for seating. Just a thought….
