This American eatery, nestled in scenic Wildwood, features fresh seafood, steaks and more, with indoor and outdoor dining rooms. Boathouse Restaurant specializes in regional seafood, including Maryland crab cakes, locally-caught Top Neck clams, shucked to order, oysters, steamed Little Neck clams, fresh scallops, jumbo shrimp and catch of the day specials.                                                                     This was one of the best restaurants I 've have eaten in my life! Everyone is very friendly and it is just a beautiful location. Food is much better than "Urey's" next door. Had the "Sunset Value" which was very high quality and ample! Just a great place to go to. We went back two nights in a row and have continued to go there each time we visit the area :)

                                                                    Ate there for a 40th birthday celebration with my family of young children. The sunset special up until 5:30 is great - the portions are a little smaller but that's fine if you order an appetizer. The birthday song that the staff sings is great. Nic is an attentive server. It's a nice waterfront (bayside) setting.

                                                                    We've been to the Boathouse several times in the past when vacationing in Wildwood. This place never dissappoints. I had made reservations for outdoor dining - weather permitting - but it was raining and cool - so they sat us at a table on the second floor overlooking the marina from the window. The waitress was very nice and kept making sure we were satisfied with everything throughout the course of our dinner. The bartender for our drinks was EXCELLENT! The drinks we ordered were done VERY well! The dinners we ordered were done to everyone's satisfaction. We had two children (under 10) - so the place does have a children's menu and is family friendly. On side notes: The Boathouse does have an outside bar area - with live bands performing regularly. The location of the restaurant is just off Rio Grande - next to Uries Restaurant. Parking can get a bit tight during prime time hours. We'll definitely recommend this place to everyone and look forward to coming back soon!

                                                                    Everything was kinda perfect BUT the shrimps because they had a terrible aftertaste of ammonia and that should NEVER happen in a place like that. Anyway, we enjoyed our dinner even if it could have been better 😯

                                                                    We were very disappointed with the management and service of the boathouse. The hostess was not very well trained and seemed to be overwhelmed. There also was no server assigned to our table. We waited 25 minutes and flagged one of the management staff to ask about the service and they did not have a clue nor did they seem to care. Another server from another sectioned noticed what was happening and she graciously stepped in the assist us. The resturant had no part in this servers assistance. Thankfully we got served and left with just having a entree. Wild not dare to order desert. We did fill out rating service card on the table.

                                                                    Food was good...delicious fresh NJ flounder...service friendly and good...and sitting out on the outdoor porch overlooking the harbor on a warm evening was super! When we come back to the area, we'll be back.
