   Best seafood and top notch service! Whenever I visit Bob Chinn’s Crabhouse I am treated like royalty. I started going to Chinn’s when I wasn’t even a fan of seafood or fish. However I was quickly converted because the seafood and sushi are so fresh and prepared to perfection. Plus, there are many options for the strictly landlubbers. The steaks and burgers are unbelievable! This is one of my favorite places to eat out whether we are celebrating or just want a fabulous meal. I have several allergies and I know the server and chef will make sure I am safe with whatever I choose. There are lots of choices on the menu! There’s something for everyone. They are especially known for their garlic rolls and mai tais and of course king crab!! If you go, tell them Mary sent you. 😜

   Ample parking although the restaurant wasn’t very busy. A bit of a walk from parking to table may be an issue for less mobile patrons. We had a 7:30 reservation and arrived at 6:00pm. We were seated right away. Our waiter Keith was very nice and informative. He gave us some history on the restaurant and told us some nice stories to keep us entertained. We enjoyed his interaction but if you are looking for a more private setting for a date or just don’t want the occasional interruption he may not be for you. However I’m sure Keith is a professional and can read the situation and adjust accordingly. He was more than welcome at our table. The food was very good. The prices are a bit on the high side for what you actually get. The sides are served in a small dish and are about 3/4 to 1 cup in size. That may be generous on my estimation. They will definitely leave you not wanting to take too much so one other person can have an equally small serving. That’s not what I would expect for a dinner that is north of $200. We did order the dinner for two. A 32 oz porterhouse and 18 oz of king crab legs. There were 2 crab legs that were pretty good size and one smaller one. We were definitely left wanting on the crab legs. The Crabmeat Vermicelli was amazing. We will probably return but try to find a bit more value from the other items on the menu. And we will also check out the salad bar. I didn’t even know there was one until revisiting the menus online to refresh my memory.

   I hadn’t been to Bob Chinn’s in over 15 years, and I’m happy to say it’s just as incredible as I remember! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared — we indulged in king crab legs, scallops, mussels, calamari, lobster, and of course, their famous Mai Tai. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond, taking the time to show us our options and ensuring we had an amazing experience. The service, quality, and atmosphere were all top notch. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

   The garlic rolls aren't as good as they used to be - pre-pandemic. They don't soak up the garlic oil like they used to.
