   Our food was fabulous and our waitress was fantastic. The bar here does not know how to make classic cocktails which is disappointing. I ordered a dirty martini, it was sweet and the bartender told the waitress that the sweetness was in the olive juice. Olive juice is not sweet. A dirty martini is classically vodka ,vermouth, and olive juice. Nothing sweet there, and the bartender said she doesn't use vermouth?? I asked the waitress to take it back and ordered another . It took 20 minutes plus to get it and it wasn't as sweet but it was still sweet. Very disappointing again. The waitress took it off our bill because it took so long to get it, we were done eating and about ready to go. The bao buns are fabulous, as are the ninja rolls and all their salads are great. Any bartender, though, should be able to make a classic cocktail. The staples here are a lot of fruity cocktails and that is not what I want to drink. We will probably be back but I'll ordered a gin and tonic, that's hard to mess up.

   Boketto is a new restaurant. September 2024. They are in a learning curve but have potential to be a very great west end restaurant. Had a few snafus with various things during our dining expereience. But pointed them out and I’m sure they’d will get better. We will be back.

   We experienced the best dinner we have had in a long time. The food was some of the best I have ever had. The blue fin tuna and the mushroom pasta was out of this world! It’s a must go!! Bring the extra money you found it’s not cheap but is worth it

   Excellent first experience. Decor is on point, especially the blue tile and chair fabric, lighting is beautiful and just the perfect amount. Service was brilliant with prompt refills on drinks. My husband loved his wine and the Diet Coke was the most perfect amount of carbonation - which really matters! We shared a wedge salad, which worked out great portion wise and the blue cheese dressing was phenomenal - I was told it is home made. I also really appreciated the finishing salt on the salad! We both ordered ribeyes and they were cooked perfectly to the right temperature and were incredibly flavorful and tasty. Best I’ve had in a long time. We ordered mushrooms and asparagus for sides. They were average and what you would expect. Overall loved our experience. The price is definitely higher than many steak houses around town but luckily the food and service made it worth it. The one thing that brought down the value of the experience was a TV screen in the bar that was fully visible in the dining room. I had to switch seats to not see it while trying to enjoy the ambiance.

   Four of us for a birthday dinner. Started with hors d ' oeuvres. Calamari, scallops and carpaccio. The Calamari and carpaccio were wonderful , the scallops not so much, small plain overcooked and not worth the price, I would not order them again. Then had wedge salads which they were happy to split, one of the best I've had. For the main course we had the truffle mushroom ravioli, Chilean sea bass, grilled lamb chops and jade wagyu steak. We ordered sides of tamari mushrooms, grilled asparagus and whipped potatoes. All four of us thought the main courses were fantastic. We kept passing bites across the table oh try this! The only thing that was bad was the asparagus. over cooked, dry skinny and tasteless that was left on the plate nobody wanted to eat it. The service was great we never felt rushed and the courses came out with perfect timing. We all agreed this was one of the best dinning experiences we've had.

   The food is fantastic. This wasn’t my first time here. The bartender we had today was amazing! She was friendly and knowledgeable and I’d recommend her in a heartbeat if I had the option. The restaurant overall is great. The menu is tasty and I will return time and time again.

   Our server Katie was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. We all had the sea bass and loved it. It’s a beautiful space with a night club vibe. Definitely dressy! We look forward to going back.

   Amazing food, got the A5 Japanese Wagyu Filet, best steak I’ve ever had…server was great, very informative and fun! A++++!!!

    Boketto had pretty decent food but unfortunately, the service was not good. Our server was very pleasant, but not up to the standard of the price point of the restaurant. Lots of mistakes and the A5 Kobe steak we ordered was not the correct temperature. When the bill at a table for 4 was $530, you just expect a better overall experience. It's too bad, because the location in West End was great and the ambiance of the overall restaurant was great as well. When you wade into the steakhouse level, you have to bring your A game and Boketto just didn't have it. It's too bad, but there are way to many other options in Minneapolis vs. the value that Boketto did not provide.

We do expect a lot from our waitstaff, so hearing that your service was not up to par that night is disappointing, but also provides a good coaching moment for us, as we are constantly striving to improve.
