BOUCHERIE is a traditional French brasserie and steakhouse, celebrating Joie de Vivre. The restaurant prepares a menu of French classics and timeless bistro favorites, in addition to the dry-aged steaks. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic drinks, a beverage program that boasts an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature cocktails. Surrounded by walls of majestic wooden-framed mirrors and original Belle Époque posters, seating at our Union square location varies among pristine white marble and wood bistro tables, cozy burgundy leather booths, a 32ft. handmade pewter bar, and an option for a 40-guest private room, to make the 222-seat restaurant feel timeless.

Negativa. Rapporto prezzo/qualità, cibo lasciano a desiderare. Zuppa di cipolle in scatola,tartare servita spiatellata sul piatto,profiteroles ripiene di gelato. Di francese solo il nome

Excellent service, extremely accommodating, really good onion soup, steak tartar needed more salt, lobster bisque a winner. 👍

Food was not good at all, especially for the exorbitant prices. Steak was tough. Table given to us was up against a wall. When we asked to move they said the restaurant was booked for the night for larger parties which it wasn’t. It was empty when we walked in. Service also not so great. Won’t be going back unfortunately!

Steaks were not cooked properly. There were 8 people in my party. None of the steaks were cooked to our choosing (medium rare to medium). Most were overcooked. Gaudi was a good server trying to sell us on more wines. Capped at 4 bottles. Probably wont come back for steaks.

Dommage que le serveur qui nous remplissait les verres d’eau en renversait à chaque fois sur la table ce qui fait qu’elle était toute mouillée

Dined here for brunch with friends and found both the food and service to be very good. The Salade Niçoise with Ahi tuna was delicious!

Service was a mess last night. Took 35 minutes for the restaurant to tell me they didn’t have the bottle of wine we ordered, then they finally took our order and tried to bring our entrees before the soup had even arrived.

The food was amazing!!!!! We were in a rush heading to a browse show. We gave ourselves an hour and 15 mins. We have finished a bottle of wine among 3 people and our food still didn’t arrive. I asked if we could just have it packed as to go but then it arrived as we needed to leave. I then asked our waitress if she could bring boxes so we could package up the sides and go. She has no urgency and kept telling us we should have told her we had to leave earlier even though we did. We also paid for the meal when the appetizers came and placed our full order at the beginning explaining we were in a rush. The food and ambiance was amazing but the courtesy of our waitress was not the best experience.
