    This used to be my favorite restaurant in Temecula. The last 3 experiences, back to back, have been awful, with today being the worst. I have not written a poor review until today, as we will not be coming back. The hostess was very nice and acknowledged my my mom’s birthday. Kaylee was our server, and while nice, her service was simply off. First, she told us they were all out of muffins. It was only 11:52am. Not her fault, but there was no live music today, as thete typically is on Sundays. We each ordered a brunch item and two orders of calamari to start and requested come out first. I was very specific. We also ordered two beers for my parents. She forgot the beers, disappeared for a while, then came out to tell us the appetizers were coming soon. My dad asked, what about the beers. She had forgotten them. Fine, but it’s now 30 minutes after ordering them, and she finally brings them. Almost immediately she brings the blinzes that one of us ordered as an entree with 1 calamari. I reminded her that was his enteee and she said the blinzes are an appetizer. Mind you, they are listed as a brunch item. I asked her if there were two orders of calamari, as we ordered and she said she only put in one order. She said she could put another order in now. I told her to forget the second order. She said she will bring it on the house. The first order of calamari was cold and had been sitting awhile. The second was good. The cheese blintzes were literally sitting under a lamp for a while. My avocado toast with egg was underwhelming as the egg was cold. The rest of the meals were okay. My mom had ordered fries and they brought out hash browns instead. The server then charged us for the second order of calamari that she said she would bring on the house. It was embarrassing that I had to say something to the server who covered for her when she went on break. Overall, something has gone really down hill with both the service and food quality over the past few months. Sad.

    We used to love coming to Ponte Vineyard Inn, and eat at bouquet restaurant. However, the food quality has gone way downhill, the service was very inattentive, and they couldn’t even get the coffee or cappuccino, right. After 11 years of loyalty, we will not be back.

    Our server was amazing and the location was quaint and beautiful, but the food was underwhelming. We ordered a $38 charcuterie platter, but there wasn't anything on it (other than the local honey) that I couldn't have made myself at home. It was fine, but not for $38.00. The cheeses were what you'd find at a supermarket - the smoked Gouda I have on my sandwiches every day for lunch. The meats were a thick-cut less-dry prosciutto, and a salami, neither were special. The mustard was good, but not any better than the Grey Poupon in the fridge at my airBnB. And the "fresh fruit" was just a bunch of (not very good) red grapes. The salad I ordered had a delicious soft cheese on it, but the portions were all wrong. The lettuce they chose was spinach, but they put SO MUCH cheese on it that the spinach was drowning and completely wilted under the weight. If there was dressing on the spinach, I couldn't tell because of all the cheese. The beets were good, and worked nicely with the cheese. There were two very small segments of blood orange on the top, as a garnish. I would have preferred the orange be an ingredient. There were 4 candied pecans. These were also good, would have made a nice addition if I could have had more than 4. My mom ordered the Chilean sea bass, and it was cooked absolutely PERFECTLY. It was crispy on the outside but tender and soft underneath. It had an avocado topping that was also to die for - and paired perfectly with the fish. The side of couscous, however, had vegetables mixed in, and they tasted as though they were taken from a CupRamen. The carrots seemed like they had been dehydrated, they were chewy and wrinkly and retained no crunch. The dessert, as recommended by our friendly server, was quite good! It was a chocolate mouse in a dome shape, with raspberry drizzle on the plate, and a raspberry in the middle of the mouse. We didn't know it would be a mouse when we ordered it, we were expecting a flourless chocolate cake, but we liked it!

    Restaurant was warm due to side door being open to outdoor patio. Sitting inside was like sitting outside; will make sure to reserve tables over at the main vineyard restaurant, for next time! Overall experience was not enjoyable and I’m a wine club member. Charles Stailey, (951) 313-0930.

    Had dinner on Saturday night. Our server James did a great job. Food was very good overall. I think the bread at the winery is better than the bread here but other than that it was on par.
