“Arguably the best oyster bar of any white tablecloth restaurant in New Orleans” per the Times-Picayune, Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House is all about local seafood. If it’s not in season, you won’t find it on the menu. Enjoy authentic New Orleans dishes and oysters on the half-shell in a lively atmosphere overlooking Bourbon Street.

Dickie Brennan and his culinary team have created an incredible menu of classic New Orleans dishes complemented by new favorites. Signature favorites include Gulf fish on the Halfshell and New Orleans style Barbeque Shrimp.

Bourbon is a central focus at the bar with 200 bourbons on the list. Bourbon House is the perfect place for a specialty cocktail or a straight pour of that hard to find small-batch whiskey.

No servizio ed attenzione a noi che non eravamo né locali né turisti americani. Servizio pessimo mi sono dovuto alzare per rubare i piatti e le posate dai tavoli vicini. MI sono alzato per prendere direttamente l'acqua dalla boule dove le caraffe erano riposte in quanto il cameriere prestava attenzione a tavoli di astanti penso locali. Il maitre passava senza guardare il tavolo.

Celebrated Mothers day, I had the corn and crab soup which was good but alittle blan. I was expecting more of a cajun seasoning. My husband had alligator and crawfish rigitoni. He liked it very much and loved the sauce. My mother had spinach and artichoke flatbread and loved it. For appetizer we had the crab claws. Delicious! Service was wonderful but felt a bit rushed. I would definitely recommend.

We usually eat here once during our yearly Jazz Fest trip. Our server was excellent, encouraging me to get a different entrée after the one I ordered was disappointing. I was reluctant at first, but followed her lead and was so glad that I did. The stuffed golf fish was outstanding! See you next time we are in town!

High top table of 8 One meal got missed but was corrected when told Food was great Raw oysters were outstanding Server would have gotten a 5 if not for the miss
