“Arguably the best oyster bar of any white tablecloth restaurant in New Orleans” per the Times-Picayune, Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House is all about local seafood. If it’s not in season, you won’t find it on the menu. Enjoy authentic New Orleans dishes and oysters on the half-shell in a lively atmosphere overlooking Bourbon Street.

Dickie Brennan and his culinary team have created an incredible menu of classic New Orleans dishes complemented by new favorites. Signature favorites include Gulf fish on the Halfshell and New Orleans style Barbeque Shrimp.

Bourbon is a central focus at the bar with 200 bourbons on the list. Bourbon House is the perfect place for a specialty cocktail or a straight pour of that hard to find small-batch whiskey.

No servizio ed attenzione a noi che non eravamo né locali né turisti americani. Servizio pessimo mi sono dovuto alzare per rubare i piatti e le posate dai tavoli vicini. MI sono alzato per prendere direttamente l'acqua dalla boule dove le caraffe erano riposte in quanto il cameriere prestava attenzione a tavoli di astanti penso locali. Il maitre passava senza guardare il tavolo.

Very poor service, we waited for over an hour for the main course. They brought to a party of four the first two dishes and an hour later the other two. The soup that was brought first got cold, since they brought a spoon along with the second pair of dishes and it also had crab shells in it. We also expected some help with the impressively long list of bourbons, but there was not a single person with somewhat of a knowledge to guide us.

The Bourbon House was recommended by friends so we’re glad we experienced it during our visit to New Orleans. The food was great and so was the service. We had a great time.

I bit pricey $24 for a burger is crazy but it was really good but overall definitely going back.

Food was decent for it value. The service was not decent tonight. Took 30 minutes to get 1 cocktail and a the soup. The food came after about 45 minutes of waiting and for the value of it was moderate. Salad dressing was bland and remainder of food once again remained average quality. Would not go back again
