Absolutely horrible from beginning to end. Had a reservation for New Year’s Eve at 8:15pm for a party of 4. Upon arrival, my party was waiting for 20 minutes just to check in at the front desk because of the line backed up. Even once checking in we were waiting for another 10-15 minutes to be sat down at a table which was not even inside the restaurant. We were cold outside in the tent area that was setup, and after waiting 15 minutes for ice and water, had to ask to be moved inside. The same girl who checked us in and informed us she didn’t even work there and was just helping out, was also the same one that moved our tables and took our order. We finally got our dinner around 9:45, an hour and a half after our reservation. The atmosphere was very loud and while waiting for the bathroom, someone in my party was even hit with a door since it is connected to the kitchen. After all of this and $100 off due to a gift certificate, our total was around $210 for four dinners and 2 appetizers. The short rib was over $60, horribly cooked and barely eaten. Steaks were nothing special for a price of over $60 for just one with one side of garlic mashed potatoes. I wish I never made this reservation for New Year’s Eve as myself and my guests were extremely disappointed. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

We arrived for our 8:15 reservation. There was a line out the door. We stood there for 25 minutes and the line didn’t move. The blond guy who’s always there as the host did not bother to address the crowd, tell anyone what was happening and why no one could be seated. He basically just ignored the issue. There were tables in the porch seating area who were just sitting there and clearly uncomfortable with the line of people hovering around them, and none of them were getting any service. We were speaking to others in line who were all frantically looking on their phones trying to make other arrangements as it was clear there was no hope for Brandl. We ended up leaving, calling Rooney’s, driving 25 minutes and Rooney’s was kind enough to get us a table at 9:30 and we had a beautiful meal there instead. This is our last straw at Brandl. Until they fire this blond guy and get better service, they will remain hopeless in our eyes.

Awful. Had a 7:30 reservation for NYE. Also called to confirm. Arrived to mayhem. About 50 people waiting all with reservations. People bailed. Even seated people left as they were waiting 45 mins and had not ordered yet. Heard food was not good. Hostess did not acknowledge the situation. We left and had a wonderful evening elsewhere.

Had reservations for 7:15 pm for 3. We approached the hostess whom proceeded to tell us even though we had reservations we would have to wait in line and it was first come first serve. We Waited in a line that went outside the door. The people eating in that room dinners' were ruined by the line that was overshadowing their tables and the complaining lashing out of this tremendous line was heard above their dinner conversation! We waited for a half an hour and the line never moved but did continue to grow. We left. Why are we waiting in a line when the entire line had reservations. I guess this is a NEW YEAR TO REMEMBER! Sorry will not be returning!

We love Brandl but it's getting weird. The passive aggressive approach with their servers aand especially Paul the "manager" on New Years Eve was ridiculous. He seated no one for 45 minutes. We were right on time. Had a 6 year old with us. Tables were empty and he ignored us until Chris hot there. As I say we go often...or used to.

Had 6 PM reservations New Years Eve. Noticed that there seemed to be very few staff. Host (who was the manager) ignored us and made no eye contact. Went on to take orders from two tables. Finally, was seated. Sat at the table for about 20 minutes. Bread put on the table. Had to ask for a wine glass. Manager came over finally to describe the specials. Again, no eye contact. Felt unwanted. For the prices in this restaurant, a little service or a sense of welcoming would be nice. My wife and I decided to leave. Went to 10th Avenue Burrito, across the parking lot, and it was fun. While waiting, met another couple that had the same experience at Brandl. We live in the area and decided to go out for a special evening. I will never return. When my wife went to work and was asked by a coworker on our experience, the coworker stated that her and her husband previously ate there and felt the staff was rude. At one point when the manager was trying to decide where to seat us, he was rude and disrespectful to a young girl that worked there. I asked the girl is that man was the owner. She stated that her father was the owner and that the man was the manager. If I was the owner and someone treated my daughter that way, that manager would be looking for a new job.

Disappointing. Let’s leave it at that. Service was under staffed and no one asked how things were. So I just bit my tongue. They were quick to take the bill though.
