Breakneck Tavern is conveniently on Route 228 just 10 minutes from the Cranberry interchange. We are a Vintage Industrial Eco-Sustainable restaurant with a scratch menu influenced by Cajun/Creole and Southern BBQ cooking. Our menu offers a large selection of Sustainable Seafood and Farm to Table responsible ingredients. We have 41 beers, a Vintage inspired Cocktail list and extensive Wine List. We are open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch.

We sat at a hightop in the bar, our waitress was unbelievably friendly, knowledgable and attentive! The craft beer selection is sizable but not overwhelming, with some unique and delicious offerings. Food was delicious, one of us had the Bison burger, it was PERFECTLY cooked, the wild mushroom burger was ordered medium rare and came out well done. Unfortunately this has happened to me in previous visits, the burger was still flavorful but overcooked. Fries, amazing. Atmosphere, amazing. Waitstaff, amazing. Overall experience... good to great!

Highly recommended! Party of 6 on a busy Friday evening, but a great dining experience. Excellent service. Food was prepared well and served in a reasonable amount of time. Lamb dinner was outstanding. Will be visiting again soon.

The food is consistently good. They have enough waiters to service the crowd. It’s one of the few restaurants in the area that I can say is well managed and well run.

The food is decent here and the people are nice but the place is always slammed and the restaurant just can’t handle it. The service is very slow ( we waited 45 minutes for our food) and we have need up getting to-go containers as soon as we got our food because we had already been there over an hr and a half and things seemed to be getting more chaotic. The table next to us was brought the wrong food twice and our waitress brought me a side salad that I didn’t order…after we had gotten the takeout boxes. I don’t think we will be back, which is disappointing because we liked their food and they have a great whiskey and bourbon list. But if it takes 20 minutes to get each drink, it’s not a great experience.
