Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander’s Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality.

NOTE: We enforce a dress code minimum of business casual. Jackets are preferred but not required. We do not allow shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, torn jeans, baseball caps, or athletic wear in the dining rooms.

You can count on Brennan‘s to be consistently excellent in all ways. One of the best! And one of the few you can actually enjoy your table conversation without a lot of noise. Beautiful and delicious food, perfect service, excellent drinks, pretty atmosphere. Easy and comfortable and no worries there!

We were quite disappointed - our food was extremely dry and really lacking any flavor. The noise factor because of the roaming band was way too loud. Our server was excellent, however if I’m going to spend $250 on lunch, I expect to have an excellent experience.

This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion! The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is exquisite. The food is absolutely divine! Every bite--cannot go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu!

Overall the food was good however the lamb chops seemed to be overcooked and had a gory texture but the turtle soup did live up to its reputation, service was ok but the restaurant was very nice and definitely reminded me of my former home in NOLA
