Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander’s Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality.

NOTE: We enforce a dress code minimum of business casual. Jackets are preferred but not required. We do not allow shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, torn jeans, baseball caps, or athletic wear in the dining rooms.

Very Merry, Jingle Bell Brunch Saturdays and Sundays in December Collect your 2024 jingle bell and don the bells of Christmases past. Fun, holiday attire is encouraged: ugly holiday sweaters, Mrs. Claus and Santa’s helpers get-ups, etc. Our Brennan’s Brunch Bunch Jazz Band will roam the restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays in December.

Truly disappointing. We were early and dressed well, and were immediately relegated to the upstairs dining area. It was a sad, freezing ballroom with no ambiance and even worse service. Other than Dylan, the staff was definitely the D team banquet servers. The food came out hot but was immediately freezing because the room was so cold. There were tons of gnats swarming our table. The “jazz band” came up at the end of our meal and sang 3 half rate songs including The Wheels on The Bus for a table of kids... this was supposed to be their famous Christmas jazz brunch and barely any music was heard. It was truly pathetic and not up to Brennan’s standards. I’m so disappointed to have spent my Sunday here instead of somewhere that values their clients and not just turning tables as fast as possible.

What a wonderful Place to done before going to a show in the Theater District. Kudos to Hope for the impeccable service and delicious banannas foster and to Fred for the shuttle ride to and from Jones Hall.

Brennan’s always hits! The service is fantastic and the food remains outstanding. This visit we tried the Creole Caprese salad - yum, the Crab Cakes - all crab, and the Bread Pudding - decadent. The wait staff was friendly and informative- thanks Hope. And, the restaurant was decorated for the holidays- win, win, win.

Fabulous anniversay dinner at Brennan's. Starting the evening with a great cocktail at the bar and then delicous dinner in the dinning room. The service was excellent as always and we were seated at a great table. Will be back for special occasions in the future.
