Enjoy French and American Lowcountry fine cuisine in a 1910 historic Victorian house. The Brentwood features classic dishes such as oysters Rockefeller, mussels Poulette, shrimp & grits, beef Wellington, duck three ways, daily fish specials, fresh Maine lobster, crème brulée, profiterole and chocolate soufflé.

There are five separate dining rooms, indoor and outdoor dining, live music and a Wine Spectator awarded wine list. The Brentwood is also the perfect venue for your next special event. This historic Victorian house will transform your special day into a one-of-a- kind celebration that is both modern and timeless.

Service was wasn’t good, we did a wine pairing with our meal and didn’t get our wine until almost done with the course it was supposed to be served with. My appetizer was cold, sent it back and took a very long time to get it. Then my main course was also cold, didn’t send it back. Figured it would take too long. Others in our party also complained about cold food. This place has definitely gone downhill in the past year. Will not be going back.

The food and wine are always delicious. They played great piped in music…I had short rib ravioli…and others loved their escargot. We split a ribeye steak which was good. Great upstairs room. Good lighting

This place is always fantastic!! Went during restaurant week and they have an awesome menu for $45 for three courses. We drove from the inlet to go there and are never disappointed. Only place around we can ever find beef Wellington and it's so delicious. Service was great, everything from appetizer to dessert great too. This place is so cool, upstairs a bit more laid back but just the sight of it as you walk up to the grand house. Overall never disappointed and we'll be sure to make it up there more often even without a special! I'd pay the extra for this food!!

Restaurant Week and our first visit. Excellent menu choices and quality food. Beautiful presentation. Wine pairings were well chosen. Personal visit to our table by Chef Steven. Lovely evening.

We went with another couple for Restaurant Week and everything was wonderful. Great selection of entrees and flavors were wonderful. We were fortunate to have Jessie as our server and she is first class. Very personable and helpful with menu selection. Will be back soon!

First off the food was great. The old house has character but is in need of some routine maintenance and repairs. We arrived at 5:05 for a 5:15 reservation and was seated immediately which was great. We placed our order for soup and entree within 10 mins of being there. The drinks were slow and the soups were slow. But we had been there for an hour before our entree was served. We finished our entree and waited 15 minutes before we were asked for our desert order. We were there an hour and forty minutes before we were served desert. We got in the car in 2 hours exactly. Good food but was amazed on how slow the service and how slow the food plating was. Especially when you have a limited “special” menu. Possibly return because of the food. But will prepare for a long dinner.

Fantastic meal and service. This place never disappoints. The restaurant week menu had something for everyone and was hard to choose. The wine pairing was also spot on!

Menu for restaurant week was superb for all three courses and the wine pairing with each course. A great value, too! We’ll definitely return and often.
