Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

                                                                        They were able to accommodate our party of 8 with a semi last minute reservation on a Thursday night. Vinny was a great server. Some of the pasta’s were slightly too al dente, and the espresso martini’s weren’t the best, but everything else was great. The table side tiramisu was fantastic.

                                                                        Food and service and exceptional. Had salad and meatballs to start and then the branzino and bricco brodetto which is always amazing. Highly recommending any trip to the north end.

                                                                        Bricco has earned its reputation, but does not rest on its laurels. It delivers every time, including when we visited recently for an anniversary dinner. We were greeted with reference to our reservation note and shown to an intimate table for two. The details in our request for a wine recommendation were carefully listened to and wonderfully matched. And every bite, from the carpaccio and burrata, through the risotto and steak, right down to the bread pudding was flavor-filled and beautifully presented. Love, love Bricco.
