It was a wonderful and festive New Year's Eve dinner, with a great band playing. Our waitperson didn't seem to know what she was doing. Didn't offer specials and no bread. Didn't know about the wine list. The food was very good I would definitely return.

Based on previous reviews we had read prior to booking we expected much more out of Bridgewater Bistro. We ate early (6:00 pm) on New Years Eve but regardless, perhaps it was an off evening. Crusted Salmon was good but risotto which came with it was mediocre and left unfinished. Pork chop was pretty dry and could have used more flavor. The mashed sweet potatoes which accompanied it was good. The best dish was the Thai Brussels Sprouts we had as an appetizer. Based on the lackluster dinner we had we decided to skip dessert. The location is lovely as is the restaurant. We might return some day just for the view during daylight.

Beet "salad" had ½ of a beet cut into 5 small pieces, placed on a dollop of Chevre and they are charging $15 for it... Goodness. 6oz Steak for $43 NOT WORTH IT. Ridiculous pricing.

A Sunday night. The bouillabaisse was excellent (though hard to mess up), and the fish cake was very good. A salmon filet on risotto was terribly flawed: Inedible thin cut of fish that was mostly of dark meat, under-cooked risotto, and vegetables overly drenched in oil. Good service.

I loved this place when I came here back in February and was hoping for the same experience this time. Unfortunately, the oysters were served luke warm, not chilled - like they'd been sitting out for some time and not on ice after they'd been shucked. The broth for the clams was unseasoned and didn't really taste of anything. I could see they were busy for the holidays and struggling so I let it slide and was looking forward to my main course. The final straw was getting a bad tasting clam in the Bouillabaisse. Very disappointing experience. I visit the area 1-2 times a year but I don't think I'll be going back to this restaurant.

I go to Bridgewater Bistro as often as I can. I love the service, the food, particularly the Hungarian Mushroom soup, but their specials are exceptional as well. The service is always friendly, fast and hospitable. The wine menu is well chosen and well priced and the view is perfect. They never rush you out.

My server was a delightful lady. She made several menu item suggestions which were “spot on” for my taste and made sure I enjoyed the special occasion I was seeking when I booked the reservation.
