At Bright Brewery, we brew an adventurous range of independent craft beers on the banks of the Ovens River, in the heart of Bright, Victoria.

Family-owned and fiercely independent, Bright Brewery was born from a passion for well-made beer, a love for the town of Bright, and the adventurous outdoors lifestyle that the High Country provides. We are also a three-time Gold Medal Winner for Best Tourism Brewery in Victoria!

Come and join us for a MountainCrafted beer and a delicious fresh meal by our Head Chef Jarrod Smith and his team.

Our Spring/Summer menu features brilliant local produce from Bright and surrounds with options for everyone - including salads, sides, pizzas, sharing boards, mains and kids meals.

Great pub, fresh fabulous food. Great craft beers, good selection wines and soft drinks Staff are really friendly and welcoming, only downside was being told tables in the paddock are reserved for a bridal party but guests were due 12pm, it was 1pm, told by staff member if you sit there and late guests turn up we’ll have to kick you off their table ……. We sat elsewhere, we left around 3pm and bridal party tables remained empty….

Unexpected delight. Beers on tap were absolutely to my taste (lots of IPAs, smoked beer ... the list goes on). Staff were cheerful, friendly and mostly knowledgeable. Where they weren't knowledgeable they were happy to find someone who was ... no egos or criticism. Fantastic management. Food was similarly great. I'll be back every chance I get.

Burgers, chips and drinks were all excellent and the staff were really friendly. Special shout out to bar staff that prepared the best Lemmon Lime and Bitters ever! Nice and cool inside on a sweltering day outside. But i did have a really really disappointing Potato and garlic pizza. For some strange reason the individual components lost their individuality and blended together into bland unpalatable mush. Perhaps it was the large amount of tasty cheese on the base and the rather thick base. And the pork pieces were scarce - although what was there was very very strong in flavour. Usually the pizza’s are great, but this one was awful. Walking out the back to exit - how amazing the micro water jets cooling the patio are! The Paddock looks inviting too.

Great vibe at always at this location. This experience let down though by a lost order and a poor response once this was realised. Wait time 90 mins from ordering to full arrival. 45 mins to determine order lost, then the “fast track” apologetic response saw another 45 min wait. We will be back though as this was an outlier experience.

It was very busy and meals were still very quick to come out. Pizzas were absolutely delicious as were the onion rings and fried cauliflower! Staff were very friendly and helpful. All 7 of us had a great time and really enjoyed the food and beers! We will definitely be back soon

Not a great deal of variety on menu, one meal was forgotten. We booked a month before our January visit to ensure good table during busy time but our party of 12 was split over two tables…not ideal and we saw other big groups seated together. Lesson learned, visit here for drinks not much else. Sorry bright brewery.
