My wife and I decided to have dinner on a cold and rainy Wednesday night at Brio (one of our favorite restaurants). Upon entering we saw one of our favorite servers, Mike, behind the bar. After asking the hostess to be seated at a booth, she offered one in the bar where we would be served by Mike. Win win. After we were seated Mike brought fresh bread and butter and we ordered drinks. After we got our drinks we ordered dinner - Caesar salads for both of us, Spaghetti Pomodoro for my wife, and Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and spinach for me. Both salads were fresh, crisp and had the right amount of dressing. Delicious. My wife’s entree is her favorite pasta dish, and she especially likes Brio’s version. The sauce is so tasty she sopped up what was left with some of that delicious fresh bread. My fettuccine dish was excellent, with perfectly cooked pasta and a light Alfredo sauce with plenty of chicken and spinach. Very tasty. Portions were so generous we had no room for dessert. And the service was exceptional - thanks Mike! We will be back soon, and hopefully Mike will be working…

Service was very slow from sitting to ordering to paying the check everything was so slow. It was obvious our waiter was overworked. The appetizer was good but the main course was not it was obviously slopped together noodles had pasta water stillI in the bottom of the bowl and the meat/sausage seemed to be boiled not grilled it was chewy and did not get eaten considering that sausage was the main ingredient it was disappointing we were ready to leave and sorry we made a bad choice no dessert no coffee no drinks just wanted to leave should of went someplace else this place was great the first few years it was open but it has lost its sense of quality

Everyone was exceptional, including the food (the lamb chops were perfectly cooked and out of this world. The only slight negative is the we were originally given David, possibly the worst waiter I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing in my entire life. Outside of the immediate need to fire David, everything was fantastic!

We were cordially greeted by the hostess on arrival and taken to our table. Both food & service were exceptional. We were throughly satisfied with our experience and will be returning for another delicious meal.

Our waitress was great. My son had a special request for something that wasn’t on the menu, and she made sure that he got what he wanted.

The flatbread pizza was lukewarm and cracker consistency. The thanksgiving special was also warm and underwhelming. Like cafeteria food. The service was quick and professional.

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Brio and everything turned out great. Initially, we were seated at a booth in the bar area. This was fine, comfortable and nice ambiance. Then we realized the bartender was responsible for the dinner service as well as the bar service and she was clearly unhappy about being there. She spoke rudely to other tables guests and told several she was really busy and would get to them when she could - in a very condescending tone. It was awful - so before she came to our table, we asked to move and were so glad we did! The dinners were delicious and our server couldn’t have been better. Our dinner with Brio in their main dining room was fabulous. The special turkey dinner was outstanding, traditional and delicious. I highly recommend this experience and we will surely return.

Our server was very warm and friendly, but just couldn’t get the order right. I asked for stuffing and gravy to go and when I got home, it was stuffing and lobster bisque. Just terrible!!!!

My Thanksgiving dinner experience at the Brio Italian Grille located at the Christiana Mall in Newark, Delaware was very good. There was no waiting around for a booth, which I requested, the waiter was polite, the restaurant was clean, and the food was excellent I’d definitely return to this restaurant to enjoy a great meal in the future

Post errands dinner with my wife since we were nearby and she felt like Italian food. Started with Caesar salads, and they were both fresh, crisp and tasty. For dinner my wife had Spaghetti Pomodoro and I had the Shrimp Risotto side dish scaled up to a dinner portion. Both pastas were perfectly cooked and the seasonings and flavors were outstanding! Clean plates all around. One thing we noticed is they changed their menu and added some new dishes, but also removed some. Specifically they removed the chopped salad, which was always delicious. Not sure why, especially since chopped salads are extremely popular now. Erin was our server and she did a great job! Always a great meal at this Brio! Can’t wait for our next visit!
