Contemporary Coastal and New Orleans cuisine served in the historic Warehouse District. Briquette serves up unique seafood creations from the Louisiana Gulf waters and around the world. Seafood specialties include Louisiana Redfish On The Half Shell, Snapper Ponchartrain with Lump Crabmeat, and Whole Branzino. Features also include Prime steaks, pork porterhouse, lamb, veal and pastas.

                        I took my family there and the service was amazing and our waiter was always on standby. Our waiter checked in on us frequently, and the food was also amazing, I do recommend.

                        I booked this reservation for an important customer from Germany who loves fish. This place went above and beyond my expectation and the client stated it was the highlight of his trip. I will be back.

                        We absolutely loved everything and the service was excellent. The blackened red fish was amazing, the Briquette salad was delicious. The ribeye was also delicious.

                        Did the Taylor Swift themed dinner while in town for the Eras Tour. Have been to Briuqette in the past and had great experiences but this one fell flat. The espresso martini was one of the worst we’ve ever had. Then the appetizer was changed without notifying us until it was placed on our table. Part of the reason we chose the restaurant was for the goat cheese scallops. Didn’t get them due to changes. For a pre fixed menu you shouldn’t be running out of things by the 7 o clock sitting. The entrees were the only redeeming part because they also ran out of the dessert and we were told it would be “a surprise”. For a menu that didn’t allow changes or substitutions by guests it seemed odd that the restaurant kept changing the menu. Overall, super disappointing and I think I’ll have to give other restaurants a chance over Briquette on my next trip to New Orleans. Also, the waiter was very handsy and kept touching me when he came to our table.

                        We absolutely adored our server, she made us feel so special and learned our names and made sure we felt welcomed. They gave us a champagne toast for our honey moon which was a nice touch. Unfortunately our food was not good. The oysters Rockefeller had the wrong proportions of oyster to filling and there was too much batter which overpowered the oyster flavor. I had the seafood (shrimp) pasta which was overwhelmingly salty and shrimp were very fishy. My husband had the chicken piccata which was dry and lackluster. We had the espresso martini which tasted a bit like cough syrup. Watermelon martini was delicious though!
