Inspired by a simpler time when meals brought friends and families together….

The menu is comprised of Italian dishes like homemade pastas, fish and steak dishes. Standouts include the Pappardelle Bruno made with braised shorts ribs, wild mushrooms and homemade pappardelle; Branzino which is a Mediterranean sea bass served with roasted potatoes, fresh spinach, lemon and capers; and the Grilled Flatiron Steak served with creamy polenta and roasted cipollini onions.

Brunos is one of our regular choices for good & reasonably priced Italian food. I also appreciate the fact that they have a reasonable corkage fee since we commonly bring our own wine. We will be going back again soon.

1. We arrived on time for our reservation, but had to wait 12 minutes to be seated. 2. Once seated, we waited 10 minutes to get bread and water 3. I had the salmon crudo, it was decent 4. My wife ordered the butternut squash soup It was more tasteless baby food than a tasty soup. 5. We both ordered the mushroom ravioli; it needed a more pronounced mushroom flavor and salt 6. We had to chase someone down for Parmesan Overall, it was a very disappointing “Mother’s Day” meal

Out of all the restaurants in Brea, I chose Bruno’s for my Mother’s Day dinner. Outstanding service on a very busy day. Was seated immediately after making my reservations a few weeks in advance. Tim the manager always gives a warm welcome to guests. Our server JAKE was excellent and so professional, JAKE was always checking on us and making sure we were satisfied with everything. Food was delicious as always, never disappointed. Cooks should be recognized for their hard work in preparing this delicious food. All staff was busy but very helpful in taking plates off our tables. Another wonderful experience here, they are always so great here at Bruno’s. Thank you Tim for having such an outstanding staff work here.

This place never disappoints. It has great food and drinks. We like Alberto, Dee, and the other bartender who serves us too (sorry forgot your name). Everyone is pleasant.
