We were greeted and seated immediately however our server was quite absent the entire dining experience. Flagging her down for a refill was successful one single time. The table was sticky and had residue from the previous customers but couldn’t get anyone to assist us. Our soup was cold, but again, couldn’t find our server, so we ate it out of pure hunger. Had it been hot or even warm it would have been yummy. We didn’t get bread or the oils we asked for. If 3 entrees, one salad, and one soup costs 178$ I expect it to be served hot and have a server who cares enough about their customers to bother checking on them. I’ve never left an Italian restaurant and had room in my stomach to spare until tonight.

We ALWAYS come back to Bruno's whenever we're in town. We live in Austin, TX and have always loved Bruno's. Tara took amazing care of us. The chef prepared Cacio e Pepe for me even though it wasn't on the menu. A fabulous dinner was enjoyed by everyone in our party. And the drinks were amazing.

Nothing memorable about the food or drink except the trist cocktail. Our server is good. The restaurant is quiet and a good place for conversation.

We reserved a table for our anniversary, which we noted in the reservation. Our anniversary was never acknowledged. The waitress corrected our Italian pronunciation multiple times, which I found to be incredibly condescending. Despite the restaurant being quite empty, it took a substantial amount of time to receive each course of food. We even waited 20 minutes for our bill to arrive.

Sherry was our server and tour guide through the drink and dinner menu. She was outstanding, taking care of us on our first visit.

First time guests of Bruno's. Dinner with family. Service was excellent and timely. Cudos to Lynnsey for wonderful and charming service. We'll be back!!

Their authentic menu sets the stage for a wonderful Italian meal in the heart of downtown Springfield. We were eager to try this place after reading such glowing reviews, and we left exceptionally satisfied. As soon as we sat down, we were served focaccia with a blend of Italian olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We ordered two glasses of wine: a Chianti and a Chiarlo Barbera d’Asti. Since we wanted to try both the pasta and the pizza, we decided to share a margherita pizza as an appetizer. The pizza was amazing, with the perfect balance of dough and sauce. Their brick oven allows the pizza to be cooked authentically, as if we were in Italy, and adds an extra touch to the ambiance. With the pizza being so good, we expected no less of the pasta. My husband ordered the fettuccine alla Bolognese, and the ragù was so flavorful that he scooped up every bit and cleaned his plate with the last piece of focaccia! I ordered the daily special—penne with a white sauce (not Alfredo!), sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmigiano—which was absolutely delightful. The flavors blended perfectly. Although we were full, we saved room for dessert and ordered cannoli. The portion came with two, making it perfect for sharing. The way they whisk the ricotta gives it a delicate texture that tastes exceptional! Service was fast, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The location is great, right in the heart of downtown Springfield, so we could easily walk back to our hotel. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience—a must-visit if you’re in Springfield and craving authentic Italian food.

Never a disappointment, last night was no exception. Could not have been more perfect. Service was exemplary by Mike. Food amazing as usual.

The experience was great The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding Took my wife there for her birthday and was not disappointed The only thing if I had to say it was incredibly loud So much that I had a hard time hearing the server other than that it was wonderful and I will be back
