Restaurant owner Carlos Centurion’s newest Bulla (boo-ya) Gastrobar location in SouthPark at 4310 Sharon Rd., Suite W01. Bulla Gastrobar joins the Charlotte community with a contemporary spin on traditional Spanish tapas, an imaginative cocktail program, and an energetic atmosphere with extensive indoor and outdoor seating.

Named after the Spanish slang term for “chatter,” Bulla Gastrobar offers a menu that boasts a mix of “alta cocina” and traditional approaches to tapas, featuring innovative techniques that are applied to classic recipes to yield modern yet authentic dishes.

Our dinner was great. We were there for Queen's Feast and what they offered and delivered was great. Our server Tyler was attentive, knowledgeable and one of the best servers we have had. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

We did the restaurant week menu and our food was subpar and they did not have the dessert we wanted. Also, they brought out the wrong dish for one of us. He ordered the shrimp and clams, but he did not want clams and they was going to substitute with more shrimp and they brought it out with the clams.

Quality of food is definitely digressing. I am a regular, and this is the last straw They need to get their game up or this is the end (as evident being restaurant week and they were half full)

Our food - meatballs, patatas bravas, fried eggplant, chicken skewers, and gazpacho - were delicious and our drinks well made. Delilah, our server, was fabulous - very attentive but not too frequently. My biggest complaint is how loud the restaurant is. As someone who is hearing impaired, it was VERY difficult to carry on a conversation. I doubt I will go back because of how noisy it is.

This was a place I had been trying to eat at for some time. I made a reservation and came on a Saturday at noon for brunch. I arrived on time only to have to wait for a hostess to come and it ended up the people ahead of me saying something to a waitress to get someone because at this point at least 4 different groups were waiting to be seated. The staff was pleasant. We chose the brunch prixe menu for $31. I got smoked salmon appetizer, fried eggs with veggies and for dessert Nutella waffles. My friend got chicken and waffles. For drinks I got avocado margarita mocktail and my friend got a mule. Her food came 1st as my order was messed up. They apologized and corrected quickly but when time for dessert they ran out of mine so I had to choose something else. I was not happy about that. The manager did come and apologized and gave us free dessert. The food was okay the smoked salmon was the best and my mocktail was great. Parking in garage your best bet. The bill was $75 for both of us. I’m not sure if I would return but I say try it for yourself you may like it. It may have been an off day for them.

Waitress was attentive and friendly. The chorizo stuffed dates are to die for! Loved having a mini birthday celebration there with my boyfriend.
