Bully Ranch, a restaurant located inside the Sonnenalp Hotel in Vail, is a casual dining experience that focuses on Southwestern and American food presented in a western style ambiance. The traditional fare at Bully Ranch is hearty, flavorful, and has a little bit of something for everyone.

The main staple of Bully Ranch is its selection of burgers and sandwiches, such as the 7X Colorado Wagyu burgers, the BFC - Bully Fried Chicken. The menu also offers a variety of soups and salads, as well as full entrees of ribs, and fajitas.

We have eaten there before. This time was different. The food came to our table late, and our meat was very undercooked. The table next to us even had a beagle dog under the table which strolled to several tables looking for scraps. (Husband sick all night).

Not a big fan of this restaurant, food is generally bland and overpriced. The tomato soup is pretty good though.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service here! Our family had burgers and the chicken sandwiches and they were all amazing. Sides and beer and wine were great too. All of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great!

First of all, I called exactly one month ago to make reservations for 8. It specifically stated on Open Table to call Bully Ranch directly for parties of 6 or more. I called at 11:30am on 12/2 and was told to leave a message and they would return my call. I left a request for January 2, party of 8. No one returned my call. Subsequently, I again called 12/3 and 12/4. Again, no one got back to me. I tried Open Table again and could only get a 4:00 reservation for my family. Too early for dinner but my family really wanted their ribs. We went on 1/2, and started to place our orders and they informed us they ran out of ribs! The dinner crowd hadn’t even started yet! We all decided we will no longer eat at Bully Ranch. The food, if anything, is mediocre and we have a plethora of other options for dining in Vail…..restaurants that actually RESPOND to inquiries.

Excellent dinner tonight with our kids! Very family-friendly place. Fantastic food options for kids, great service, very good food, and wonderful ambiance. Meal also moved along at a good pace which is helpful with little ones. And they have coloring/crayons for kids. We will definitely return when we're back at Vail next year!!

Tables near the front door shouldn’t be seated in the winter. It’s too cold and very uncomfortable. Food gets cold immediately and a constant wind from the door opening

The burgers are huge, the truffle tots are wonderful, and the chicken sandwich was delicious. You will not go home hungry ... and the service is exceptional.

Overall it was great. The ribs, chicken burger, and bourbon burger were delicious. The cookie for two was not too be missed. I gave it 4 stars because of the brick chicken. Just not enough flavor.
