   It’s our favorite spot! Nothing else … they are the best. Delicious food, awesome service, amazing atmosphere.

   It was Mother's Day dinner so it was busy. The server was NOT as friendly or professional as we have experienced in the past. We were serviced by the other staff and only saw the server around 3 times duirng our two hour dinner. When I asked for a Pina Colada, he made rude comments about they are not the kind of restaurant that serves burger and fries but a more upscale restaurant so they don't have a blender. I asked for a Daquari because I didn't think it needed a blender and he made me feel embarassed as he repeated about the kind of restarurant they were. We tipped him extremely well ($100) only because it was appropriate but we hoped it would be shared with the other staff, who were much more friendly and helpful.

   Elevated menu for an intimate, possibly cramped main dining area. Service is excellent and exceeds expectations for the room. Incredibly deep wine list which may overwhelm the straightforward steak forward menu. I look forward to returning.

   Ah, Mother’s Day—the one day a year where moms get pampered, and restaurants charge triple for half the experience. We were promised a full-service menu. What we got was a buffet… with cardio. Guests were expected to descend a flight of stairs like it was a pilgrimage to the sacred chafing dishes, only to return—plates in hand—dodging kitchen staff like they were in a culinary obstacle course. I didn’t realize brunch came with a stair master workout and a risk of concussion. Although we should thank you cause we just cancelled our gym membership. Then came the eggs—or rather, “egg product,” which is what you get when eggs lose their will to live. Apparently, The Bungalow thinks Corona del Mar patrons can’t tell the difference between real eggs and something squeezed from a carton in a lab somewhere. Spoiler: we can. Look, if you’re going to charge above-market prices, the experience should feel like fine dining not a hotel continental breakfast with a staircase. My wife, bless her, actually said she would’ve preferred McDonald’s. At least there, the stairs are optional and the eggs know who they are.

   It's a mixed review because, for the price I felt like the "buffet" wasn't really a buffet, it was small. There was scrambled eggs which honestly tasted watery and not all the way cooked, I didn't finish eating them. Then there was bacon, sausage and French toast, a chilled salmon filet, and chilled shrimp, tiny bite size muffins, a fruit medley, then the carving table was ham and prime rib. There also were eggs Benedict, the muffin wasnt very toasted. And dessert was giant chocolate covered strawberries, some cheesecake slices and chocolate mousse. But that was it. Then if they sat you up top you Had to go up and down stairs, it was narrow. Felt a little crowded. But the servers and bus boys were so nice and attentive. The tables were set nice. Idk I've been to other mothers day, Easter brunches and this one just fell very short for the price. No offense but El Torito has all that plus a create your own omlette station for $45...soooo, ya probably won't come back again for a brunch

   A favorite neighborhood gem. Great steaks and cocktails. The prime rib sandwich - on a delicious french roll and the steak sandwich are reliably excellent Service is very friendly and prompt. Prawn cocktail is huge - enough for two.
