    Went to celebrate 25th anniversary. Made reso month out. Upon arrival (at 6pm on a Sunday) were told to wait a few while they readied the table. Then took us to a high top, 4 top, set for 4 in the cocktail area. I mean considering there were other tables available (I don’t know what time they were reserved) and reso a month out, and someone celebrating their 25th, I’d assume we would get a nice cozy table. Just felt like we showed up and they put us in overflow…. Server was polite, knowledgeable etc. she did acknowledge our anniversary so it was known at the host stand. We ordered a couple cocktails that were tasty. Bacon app over priced and underwhelming. Tough chewy, charred in spots. Nothing resembling gremolata on the plate. Could have been so good. And at $18 bacon & some peppers is very little value. Scallops/duchesse potato app solid, and at $16 presented better value. Parker house rolls at $13 is crazy steep. I will say they were light and fluffy perfection. The best thing I had to eat. My wife’s filet fine, my $98 king crab Oscar style filet was overcooked. A solid medium versus the medium rare that was ordered. The one bite I took was pale grey and dry. I opted not to have it replaced as I didn’t want to wait or let my wife wait. So we just moved on and I did not eat the steak. The whipped “Yukons” I’m hard pressed to believe they were actually Yukons. Yukons are golden and on the waxy side. These were Too white, too fluffy like Idaho’s. They tasted good, lots of herb butter. But color and texture would say they were maybe Idaho’s. & at $12 for what would be 8-10 in other restaurants, but you are paying the cost of the fancy bowl they come in. Service really dragged at points. Coffee came well after we were already dipping into desserts. Desserts were good but not a wow. They comped one for anniversary which was nice. Forgot to remove the uneaten steak for a $400 bill, removed & made it out for $300. Beautiful restaurant. Overpriced and meh

    The interior was pretty with the flowers and dark atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and special for an anniversary.

    After attending a show at the Ohio Theatre we decided to try Butcher & Rose and it did not disappoint. The Wagyu ribeye was very flavorful, the signature rose cocktail was good and ambiance was beautiful.

    Food and service were excellent!! Steak tartare, double bacon, Beef Wellington, creamy spinach and potato anna delightful!!

    No need for a steak knife. I could have cut the filet with a spoon. The service was above amazing. Request Jamie when you go. Great southern hospitality personality with a heart to serve - and it showed. Amazing depth of knowledge on the food and wine menu both and suggested a perfect wine pairing with the meal. Not kidding, the best meal and service we’ve ever experienced. We’ll be back.

    The decor is over the top but the food misses the mark. One thing we found to be exceptional was The Rose cocktail, presentation and taste both exceptional. Things we found to be very good were the Parker House rolls served with Kerrygold butter but honestly Kerrygold elevates anything you put it on 😋, rolls could be a tad sweeter and then they would taste like the Parker House rolls my mom made, the scallop appetizer and potatoes Anna were also very good. Salad dressings needed more flavor as did the bearnaise sauce. Steaks good but not great. Service was good but not great when comparing to other like restaurants. We would recommend to go for drinks and appetizers to experience the decor.
